Vodafone today unveils its 2021 Christmas campaign. With more than 1 million people living in solitude in Hungary (10% of the population) and spending the most heart-warming evening of the year alone, Vodafone Hungary decided to focus on an untraditional theme for Christmas this year: Loneliness. In the film, we see Uncle Imre, a sympathetic elderly widow, who is likely remind us all of someone we know and love, having friendly chats with the butcher, sharing stories with the postman, and never-ending conversation with the florist and his neighbours in the elevator. The film then reveals that Uncle Imre has no one he can share Christmas Eve at home. But it is Christmas after all, and our story takes a happier turn when his phone rings and the neighbour family come over to share the joy of Christmas with him. The world doesn’t stop when you get into your car, but the new Audi A8 grants you the freedom to concentrate on the essentials. To show Audi A8’s perfect noise insulation, we tested the car in real environment and recorded the radio commercial in the back seats of an Audi A8, in the morning traffic. We didn’t use any post audio effects, just a voice actor and a sound engineer meanwhile driving in the morning traffic for real to show the perfect of sound insulation before and after letting the window down. But we decided to do it in a very nice way, almost like a pillow talk. Through a digital campaign, promoted by youtube pre rolls, we invited women for an online quiz that revealed their after-sex nationality. Hungary is a football crazy nation, but in the past 40 years success have avoided us. Until last year. With veterans making up the core of the national team, the demand for new talent has never been higher. Unfortunately the people still didn’t believe their kids have the talent to be world class athletes. Clumsy people are often referred to as having two left feet, although no one has taken this expression literally. Until now... We swapped all the right foot shoes with lefties in a sneaker store, and waited for the reaction. When the kids realised they don’t fit we took them with an even bigger surprise. This is Zoltan Gera, member of the Hungarian National Football team. We literally proved that no kid has two left feet. This is how we promoted the National Football association talent programme for children.
