In this spot, we follow one day in world champion Karsten Warholm’s life. He wakes up at the break of dawn, and starts the day off with jumping hurdles in his bedroom before chugging down a couple of smoothies and going for a run – pulling tractor tires through the streets of Oslo and smashing everything in his way. In the end, a voiceover encourages everyone who are not a world champion to start off the new year by simply just eating a bit healthier. The most ambitious TV commercial in Maxbo’s history, shot in the beautiful Norwegian landscape, connects the brand to its owners’ 370 year old history (Løvenskiold, from 1649). To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, UNICEF teamed up with the Norwegian ad agency Hausmann and found a way to ensure that the important document is stored for the foreseeable future: It is now the first document to be officially stored in DNA and placed in the safest place on earth – in the permafrost at Svalbard. Reading out loud for others can be a scary thing for children. They are often met with prejudice and comments. We wanted to show them that they are good enough as they are and lift them up. Therefore we invited them to participate in what they thought was a normal audition to be a host at ARK’s annual children books award.
