For the last 30 years the Polish team hasn’t been able to play in a knockout stage of any major football tournament. That being said, there is Jacek Gmoch, the oldest and most renowned trainer, who was able to take the Polish team to a 5th place in World Championships. Before the EURO 2016, we decided to make use of his authority and make a video, where this real-life legend of football talks in a very emotional and personal manner to all the fans. “I have just one dream left, maybe my last. I want Poland to advance from the group phase of Euro 2016. Please help me spread the word, so the team could fulfill my last will. One shouldn’t disappoint their older colleague..” The Internet in Poland went wild after this. Within 3 days it was watched over 800,000 times and was mentioned by all the major information portals in Poland. Supermarkets are the #1 place to be exposed to VOVID-19: its workers were testing positive for coronavirus at a rate of 20% - well above the 1.3% detected in the community at the time. Mastercard used transaction data to protect both employees and customers. At the beginning of lockdown, we launched www.kiedydosklepu.pl – a digital tool providing information about instore traffic. Next, we partnered with Carrefour and used the tool within the Waze navigation app. When you searched WAZE for any supermarket, we guided you to the emptiest Carrefour in your neighborhood. We also created promos you could only access when the store was empty. Integrated advertisement created by McCann, Poland for MasterCard, within the category: Finance.

Health Care in Poland is underfunded. This is especially evident in the case of cancer patients. There is very limited or no access to the new generation of drugs. Several treatment methods, like immune therapy or molecular targeted chemotherapy, are not available in Poland, nor funded by the National Health Fund. Alivia is an Oncology Foundation that believes that more often than not, in Poland the most important missing factor in the fight against cancer… is money. In our non-for-profit campaign, we followed the road less travelled. Instead of the cliché route of “emotional blackmail” we chose to empower people, to give them hope and show them that cancer is something you can fight and conquer. With the help of essential resources, cancer can be defeated. Crayfish in Polish is cancer. Film advertisement created by DDB, Poland for Alivia, within the category: Public Interest, NGO.

HIV spreads via sexual contact. Polish Red Cross decided to warn young people, how dangerous it is to have sex with someone you barely know. We used basic feature of facebook as the main medium of communication – Friend Request. We created a profile of a beautiful young woman and sent the friend requests to young polish facebook users. They had to decide whether they want to confirm the relationship, basing only upon her name and photo – just like it happens in a pub when you meet someone new. If they confirm the request, they can see the only post that Alice has on her wall – a video that reveals how the facebook user met her. Facebook user becomes the hero of the movie. By this way we warn people to be more cautious in real life and not to accept sex proposals from the strangers.
