To promote Honda Sensing, an exclusive intelligent suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies, Honda presents “Sense the Future” – the story of “Tan” who can see 1.789 seconds into the future. When Tan, first, found his superpower, he felt that it was more like a curse than a God-given-power – seeing only 1.789 seconds ahead was too short to change anything. This future vision only forced him to face the second moment of everything, and it would have remained as the unwanted curse if he had not met “Jean”, the girl who changed the meaning of his power forever. We Are Pi and Desperados have teamed up with Mike Cervello and Wave Studios Amsterdam to mastermind the ultimate sonic gravity experience. Lucky festival-goers took to the skies in a fully decked-out plane-cum-dancefloor which nose-dived intermittently to induce weightlessness whilst Mike Cervello dropped his massive tune. The unique stunt is part of the tequila-flavoured beer brand’s wider ‘Release Your Inner Tequila’ campaign that promotes wild experimentation in dance music culture. This innovative experiment is released as the music video to Dutch DJ Mike Cervello’s epic dance tune, ‘Smack!’, which he remixed especially for this project. Scientifically researched and engineered, Mike worked closely with the science team and agency, We Are Pi, to discover the best way to optimise the bass drop, stretching the sounds to enhance the transition to zero gravity. An eye-catching temporary installation, ‘Scents of the City’ was set up in a Brussels art gallery – 752 tubes containing 16 unique fragrances from Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and Copenhagen. The scents, which included “A Real French Breakfast", the aroma of a buttered tartine in a Parisian café, “Latexxx”, the latex odor from the Sex Museum in Amsterdam, or the more poetic “Moments after Mass”, the blended scent of the Cologne cathedral…visitors were able to walk around the colorful display, hung from the ceiling like a chandelier. Circling around, they could explore the different scents, which were identified on large wall maps. The temporary exhibit was preceded by a soft launch in Paris earlier this year, and will continue with a film, which follows an adventurer as he travels to the different cities.
