On the International Day of Children's Rights on November 20th, Child Protection Switzerland launched the PRIVACY PLAYGROUND to draw attention to the dangers of “sharenting” (“to share” / “parenting”). Stickers with cute motifs are attached to slides, climbing frames and swings. These contain a QR code that triggers push notifications on the smartphone as soon as the parents take a picture of their child. As cute or funny as children’s photos are, posting them can be dangerous. Once published, it's easy to lose control of it. It can quickly happen that a playground snapshot from Instagram ends up on pedo-criminal darknet platforms - or it only triggers cyberbullying years later. In their latest ad, the Norwegian pharmacist Vitus took on a monumental project: to document the development of the human skin through an entire lifetime. In just 60 seconds. People come in all ages, shades and shapes. Vitus’ mission is to help everyone feel comfortable in their own skin and meet whatever changes they may face in the future. After all, we are all living proof that the only thing constant is indeed change. This project set out to document just that. The result is a film with no less than 101 women from age zero to one hundred portrayed completely natural and without any retouching. Put together in a stop motion fashion the spectator is taken on a journey through generations and ultimately a time-lapse of an entire lifetime. This is a story of an indomitable talented underprivileged boy of Patuakhali Imran Hassan and a blind girl Salina Akhter from Dhaka, Bangladesh. They have surpassed all the obstacles from the life with the help of Dutch Bangla Bank Scholarship. This bank has created and extended their hands towards them to fulfill their dreams and able them for the future. Dutch Bangla Bank Limited has been providing Education scholarships to thousands of meritorious yet underprivileged and physically challenged students from all across Bangladesh for the past 13 years beginning its journey in 2005. Throughout the journey many inspiring stories were heard of indomitable meritorious students whom despite their challenges wanted to keep on moving forward. Dutch Bangla Bank became their friend in need and helped them through their scholarship program. Our plan was to put a dramatic representation of this stories and bring out the emotions that the viewers could relate to. Their stories, struggles & hardships and their will to achieve along with how Dutch Bangla bank helped was put forward. Rusty, a 100-year-old landmark water tower, proudly sits on the roof of Minneapolis-based advertising agency, Carmichael Lynch. The agency utilized this ubiquitous yet often-ignored city element as a way to project public art to the community. This year they partnered with the Minneapolis College of Art and Design to create a new loop of mapping projections. These unique experiences of light and vision are now open for the public’s viewing pleasure.
