Shazam is an app that recognizes and identifies songs for people. However it’s technology could be used in different ways to identify different sounds. There’s a particular field of interest that could greatly benefit from such a technology, such as pharmaceuticals. When it comes to treating colds, Doctors agree that catching them at their earliest stage of symptoms is most effective. Therefor we came up with an idea for Tylenol using Shazam’s technology called Shazam Cold. People who feel an oncoming cold could use the app, and cough into its sound recognition system, in order to be prescribed the right type of medicine and dosage from a team of doctors. During the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, the high consumption of alcoholic drinks is the main responsible factor for the increase in traffic accidents. Drunk drivers are directly involved in the increase of 50% of fatal accidents during this time of the year. Antarctica’s objective, the most consumed beer brand and sponsor of the event, was to make its consumers arrive safely at home after drinking. We developed The Beer Turnstile. A new underground turnstile for which the ticket was an empty Antarctica beer can. Via optical reading, the can was scanned and the passage freed. British Airways launched a long-term campaign in the US telling India Ex-Pats in the US “It's time to Visit Mum!”. The campaign features real people and kicked-off today with an emotional video featuring a mom in India talking about how much she misses her son in America. During the video, she cooks her sons favorite meal for BA to fly to him in New York, but ends up being surprised when instead BA brings her son to her (after not being home for 15 years). HITOTOKI is a Japanese stationery Brand, specializing in items that are used for handmade craft. In a world where everything is so hectic and efficient, we wanted to bring the value of handmade to life. We created HITOTOKI CLOCK, the “world’s most handmade” 24-hour movie clock. There are 1,440 minutes in a day, and we created different combinations of small items to express each and every minute. We actually filmed these in a single, 24-hour cut. At our official website, we released a real-time version of the clock. We created a new kind of branded content that is actually useful in daily life. Every year, the Association for the Promotion of French Advertising organizes an open house day, and invites students to visit different Agencies. JWT Paris made this day special and did more than just a simple visit of the agency: It opened the doors to its network! And gave students the opportunity to land an internship outside France. On april 26th, 50 french advertising students were video interviewed one after the other by one of 5 JWT executives around the world (Sydney, Shanghai, NYC, Tunis, Madrid).
