Advertising pantyliners in the extremely conservative South African market posed quite a challenge. How do we talk about a product designed to take care of an area that’s hardly ever mentioned, and when it is spoken about it’s usually in code or with awkward pointing? We decided we had to get people talking about, and understanding, what the product is for. The vagina. Welcome to Vagina Varsity. A month-long, no holds-barred course to teach students everything they need to know about their vaginas, because being a vagina-haver, doesn’t make you a vagina expert. Once they signed up, the course was sent to students’ email, so they could engage with the material in private. The course consisted of video lessons and loads of extra vagina, period and product-related information. There were also weekly quizzes so learners could test their new-found knowledge, because the more you know, the less you have to fear. When the young artist Lil Peep died of an overdose, he was mourned far beyond the SoundCloud rap scene. Our idea is to let his songs end with a voiceless minute. A minute of tribute for every lost opioid victim, on the day of his death. The film is a metaphor for Vieira de Castro and its products’ presence in the consumers’ everyday lives, thus portrating the last 75 years of a company that bets on the future and that seeks to maintain itself as a national business reference. The action gravitates around a bowl full of Vieira’s most iconic products, giving the spotlight to the ones that are part of the memories of generations, as are the well known Flocos de Neve, the Marie Biscuit, almonds or the iconic Water Cracker. The film allows the viewer to travel through several countries like Japan or Brazil, important foreign markets to which the brand exports their products which are entirely produced in Portugal. To get viewers hyped for its 2018 “CMT Music Awards,” CMT called on long-time collaborator, 2C Creative (“2C”), for a custom event spot featuring the agency’s signature special-effects touch. The goal was to take the network’s concept – that the CMT Music Awards will blow your mind – beyond the figurative and, in a creative/playful way, convey the fun that differentiates this award’s show experience from all the others. The Staropramen brand has chosen several ambassadors for its new image campaign. People who approach their work and life in the same way as the brewery. Through their statements, they share common values, across different fields. Between the representatives are Jaroslav Silhavy as coach of the National soccer team, Hynek Cermak for his approach on theater stage and Staropramen’s brewmaster Jan Spacek who invented his own beer as one of his experiments. Do you believe there is hope for the future? The world can be beautiful and open, if we want it. These children from around the world came together and discovered they are more alike than they ever imagined. In the film Dear mom and dad, we document what happens when 48 children from 12 different countries meet at a CISV camp funded by Momondo and run by CISV. We asked the children to write to their parents how they see the world in the beginning and the end of the camp. We are proud and honored to have been able to document the beautiful feelings and thoughts shared by the children. They don't come from the same culture, speak the same language or wear the same clothes, but none of that matters: jokes are shared, hearts are opened and friendships across borders are made. Momondo supports CISV International, a global non-profit organization dedicated to educating and inspiring action for peace. By educating the next generation, and through building intercultural friendships based on cooperation and understanding, CISV aims to help children and youth to develop the skills they need to become informed, responsible and active global citizens, able to make a positive difference in their communities and the world.
