Brazil talks about soccer 24/7 in all sorts of media. And since every major soccer league in the world has a signature song, we saw an opportunity to finally give the Orchestra some of the attention soccer always has. We invited Antonio Pinto, a Brazilian Hollywood composer, to write a song in partnership with musicians from Heliópolis. The song became the new São Paulo’s State Championship theme tune and was played during game openings and broadcasts, turning the championship’s visibility into free advertising for Heliópolis Orchestra. That was an orchestra that made the headlines in a country mad for soccer.

Students in apprentice training centres and vocational education colleges are twice as likely to smoke (47%) than their counterparts in general and technological colleges (22%). So how do you motivate them to stop smoking? ici Barbès took up the challenge by creating the Tabado Games for the National Cancer Institute (INCa), which coordinates a school anti-smoking program, Tabado, in conjunction with stakeholders in local health promotion. Tabado Games take the codes of the world of sport to offer students and teachers the opportunity to take part in a challenge between schools during the school year. This year the aim of the National Cancer Institute and local health promotion actors is to motivate and support 140 schools, or more than 60,000 students, to quit smoking. Effective, free and motivational, the Tabado programme has already proved its worth, with the new structures resulting in twice as many people quitting. In Brazil's largest economic crisis, unemployment reached 12.7 million people. Most of the unemployed are women and many of them think that makeup is one of the most important things in a job interview. But what if Brazil's most popular makeup brand said just the opposite? We invited a few women to have their makeup done by a professional on the day they had a job interview, with the help of one of the largest recruitment companies in Brazil (Mappit). But we had one condition: they couldn’t look in a mirror until the interview was over. We made a video and released it online the day before Labor Day (May 1). LA-based Robot Film director Chris Robinson captures recording artists easily sharing their photos with friends in Kodak’s youth-oriented ‘SO Kodak’ campaign, out of Partners + Napier, Rochester, NY. The spots target a youth audience with the message that Kodak’s m590 is the only camera that allows you to connect with Facebook, Kodak Gallery, Flickr and YouTube to share your photos directly from your camera. Robinson captures pop personalities Drake, Trey Songz, Pitbull and Rihanna in spectacular environments. Portrait of a Dreamer is the story of Fidencio Fifeld-Perez, an undocumented artist who comes to the US at age seven. Fidencio documents his journey to America though papal picados (Mexican papercutting) made of maps. Through this medium, he completes the iconic George Washington Athenaeum portrait on the dollar bill with a road map from Mexico to the United States. Physically abusing a woman is prohibited in every religion. Yet, it happens. In Islam, men have been found misuse phrases from religion as a justification for domestic violence; such as “If you want your wife’s attention, you may get it with a light tap.” (Religious verse in Islam) If even a tap hurts one’s wife, it is not acceptable, because Islam commands men to be kind and compassionate to women, and if they hurt a woman, it is said to be hurting God. But men misuse the ‘light tap’ as a justification for physical domestic abuse as those light taps escalate and cause serious harm to women. We turned the “Tap” feature of Instagram Stories into a tool against domestic abuse. And showed men that what they misused as a ‘light tap’ was actually domestic abuse. Through a woman’s profile, we followed men as they were drawn to visit her profile on Instagram (@lifeof_farah) and uncover her Instagram story by tapping on the Play button. Then, as they tapped through her Instagram story, they saw how a light tap can escalate.
