PayPal Estimator is an online estimation game where users try to guess the exact price of the items sold on PayPal’s international merchant stores like dealextreme, tinydeal.com, lightinthebox.com and make scores to get exciting prizes and discounts. It both in Turkey and the Netherlands. Facebook fans easily joined the game via their accounts, randomly pair off with one of the estimators on the game at that moment. Thousands of players competed at the same time for winning the grand prize. They all tried to estimate the price of variety of products appear on the game screen as close as to the exact price and faster than their opponents to get more scores! TBWA\Istanbul took an innovative path in selecting their most recent interns, who were chosen not only for their talent, but also for their love of advertising. In cooperation with Minder, one of the best neurotechnology companies in Turkey, the agency tested 503 potential interns by showing them a set of iconic ads and observing their emotional reactions, which were then converted to numerical data. The five subjects who showed the most love for advertising earned the right to the internship positions. The big idea was to create an alternate ending for one of the saddest movie (Title: My Dear Brother-1973) of Turkish cinema history. The film was about a little boy with leukemia. His biggest wish was to have a television at home, his older brothers were trying everything to get it for him, but unfortunately he was dying just before he can watch it. So in order to highlight the fate changing role of the LOSEV, we've decided to change the famous final scene of the movie with a happy ending. In this new final scene, the big brother brought the television home, just like in the original film, but instead of finding his little brother dead, he waked him up and they started to watch the television together with joy. What would make you smile in a life where you wake up exactly at the same time, drive through the same roads, arrive at the same place and do the same things every day over and over again? A good sleep? Not enough. The morning coffee? To some extent. The company car? How so? Like this. Your alarm goes off. You wake up. It’s still dark outside. You have to go to work. You get up from bed. You look out from the window and ta-da! There it is. The company car. It’s waiting for you, “let’s roll together!” it says. At that moment, “El Bimbo” starts to play in your head. The campaign for the fleet leasing company, Hedef Filo consists of four TVCs. It shows us the misery of waking up early and going to work, the stress of a job interview, the tiredness from working all day, and the tension that arises from being stranded on the road while going to a very important meeting. And in these stressful moments, seeing the company car on a platform revolving in all its beauty with “El Bimbo” playing in the head, it lightens the mood. We address the feelings of those who feel like Star Wars! Samsung Turkey needed new ideas on the concept and communication processes of the special bundle, including Galaxy Note 8, Gear S3, exclusive figures and all other products, which was tailor-made for “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” movie. We chose the story of a father and daughter, both Star Wars fans, to meet this need of Samsung. We undertook all launching procedures from the package design and TVC to digital media trailers. In our trailer, we see the story of a girl, who starts to hear sounds from the Star Wars world and go beyond the limits of her imagination, and discovers the real force while trying to figure out where the sound really comes from.
