The Chilean brand Oxford Fitness, dedicated to sports equipment, has created the first giant treadmill where more than 10 people can race simultaneously. While the race goes on, the speed of this machine will progressively grow, until only one person remains standing and ultimately winning the race. This treadmill is build on a scale four times larger than the original one. Towering almost 5 meters tall, 3 meters wide and 6 meters long. Featuring a 12hp electric motor that has enough power to move 2 tons, and reaching speeds from a minimum of 1km/h to a max of 16km/h. Oi, a telecom provider from Brazil, is hoping to make everyone believe in the magic of Christmas one more time. That’s why it created the Magical Payphone, a device that connected kids with Santa Claus. Installed in Rio de Janeiro, the special payphone was available to kids walking by with their parents. Once they made the call, the kids would chat with Santa, who were actually two retired actors from Retiro dos Artistas (an institution that takes care of former artists). But it was much more than a telephone call. Big surprises were prepared for the kids: lost elfs, gifts and even a mapped projection with snow and a choir of kids. On Tuesday November 20th (United Children's Day) UNICEF The Netherlands launches it's "WE BELIEVE IN ZERO" campaign with an imposing kick off. During a period of 24 hours, 19.000 pairs of children's eyes were shown on the LCD screens that wrap around Amsterdam's landmark the Ziggo Dome. Every 4,5 seconds a child closes its eyes. After 24 hours all children had closed their eyes while meanwhile the counter added up to 19.000. Our idea was to show how much the LG 15KG washer can wash. So we filled it with 71 items of clothing and then washed the whole lot in one go. The clothes were then stitched together to make a 12.66m x 3.35m billboard that directed people to a landing page where they saw how it was made, learnt about the washer and found the nearest store to buy it. The billboard was placed in a high traffic location on Qantas Drive near Sydney airport for three weeks, capturing the attention of passing motorists.
