Mizuno Waveknit is a revolutionary running shoe. All made of thread, it looks like sewed by hand. We needed a beautiful art direction to be noticed on the streets, shopfronts and points of sale. So, we've created an all-thread ad, made by hand, as Mizuno WaveKnit looks like. We've analyzed the maps and running tracks of the 3 most important cities that host the major running circuits in Brazil. We've re-drawn and stylized them to create an ad that displayed the tennis and the streets like a single piece, linked by the strings. We've made a lot of pre-tests to have the perfect art direction to reflect the WaveKnit in its essence. We've tested a bunch of different thread textures, nail sizes, color graduations to get to the perfect combination and deliver the most faithful replica. The Telekom Storytime app enables parents working abroad to tell their children bedtime stories remotely, with the technology of the app meaning parents don’t just tell the story, they become part of it. It’s a shocking fact that thousands of Romanian children are left in the care of relatives when their parents are forced by financial circumstances to seek work abroad. ‘Real Booty Music’ is a collaborative project, which sees the Danish audio designers create state-of-the-art technology that, bluntly put, enables dancers to create music using their rear-end. A free track was/is subsequently available through a microsite/Soundcloud. Placed somewhere in the intersection between high-brow and low-brow, technology and music, seriousness and fun, this is music made by the booty - for the booty. http://realbootymusic.aiaiai.dk/
Passengers who flew Azul Airlines in December were invited to write Christmas cards and decorate Christmas trees when arriving at Viracopos International Airport. Then, the cards were attached to presents and sent to charity institutions. After that, we made a Christmas dinner that was served by some flight attendants. Following the concept of Coca-Cola TV spot “Christmas Rules”, we made an web video that highlights the affirmative values behind every rule, such as “Don't let your traditions fade away”, “Each present deserves a card”, “There is always room for one more” and “Anything Is Possible at Christmas”. With the slogan “rules have a special taste when we’re together”, we did an activation that turns into a video with more than 2 million views in one week. Illegal wildlife trafficking has prevailed for centuries and today reaches an estimated market value of $19 billion USD (source: Havocscope). The demand for aphrodisiacs containing these ingredients is one of the drivers of this trade and has clearly led to the poaching of endangered animals and plants, many of which risk extinction. China is a significant consumer of these aphrodisiacs, the ingredients for which are sourced from all over the world. Hong Kong is no exception either, with both its own local demand and as a gateway to China. The Colombian Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development became aware of the demand for its own wildlife species and wanted to stop this illegal activity. So they turned to Geometry Global Colombia, their partner agency since 2014. Meanwhile in Hong Kong, WildBond Hong Kong, a conservation group dedicated to protecting endangered species, was looking for ways to reduce the demand for wildlife aphrodisiac products. Geometry Colombia and Hong Kong decided to take on this and took a novel approach. Instead of trying to change the behavior of the poachers, they would change the behavior of the consumers by subtly redirecting them towards sustainable and environmentally friendly products. And Colombia has the perfect sustainable ingredient: the Chontaduro fruit, known as “Nature’s Viagra,” is believed to have powerful aphrodisiac powers and has been used for centuries by the Afro-Colombian communities of the Pacific Coast of Colombia. Bringing in the expertise of Geometry’s two offices, Geometry Global embarked on a complex project to invent new products with this fruit and create a new brand that would appeal to the Chinese buyer of erotic merchandise and aphrodisiacs. Hong Kong team transcreated the original myth of Colombian fruit for the Chinese audience, explored the channels and the trade, led brand identity and packaging design, and identified the best possible formulations needed for these channels. Multiple products were developed including massage oil, candles, and an energy drink, and marketed under a provocative Chinese brand name (She Shou Tao, or “Orgasmic Peach”) with a compelling package design to suit this unique sales channel. The products are available in select adult shops and massage parlors in Shenzhen, China. To date, 500 kilos of chontaduro have been used to produce massage oil (sold 3500 bottles), candles (sold 800 units), and an energy drink (sold 3,000 bottles).
