‘Made in China’, ‘Made in Bangladesh’, the labels inside our clothes show us where our clothes are made, but not always how. Sustainable fashion brand Goat Organic Apparel launches a T-shirt where they place the ‘made in’ label on the outside. This comes as a statement against the low production standards fast fashion brands set in manufacturing countries such as Bangladesh. Lavinia Bakker, one of the founders of Goat: “This T-shirt is a cornerstone of our people first standards. By placing our ‘Proudly made in Bangladesh’ on the outside, we want to show that we don’t have to hide where and how our clothes are made, we are proud of it. And we would like the wearer of the tee to be that as well. We dare you to find a high-street fashion label who, with a clear conscience, will do the same.” With Goat’s ideals set in stone, the brand wants to go beyond selling clothes and has started their Taking Action platform with which they help causes that truly matter. Millions of workers in countries like Bangladesh were already struggling to get fair wages and with the COVID crisis, they are hit even harder. Therefore, the proceeds of this ‘Proudly made in Bangladesh’ T-shirt will be donated to Labour Behind the Label, a charity that provides aid to textile workers around the world. Advertising agency Cactus has created an animated TV campaign aimed at driving awareness and purchases of various Scratch products in the Colorado Lottery’s portfolio. Lottery ads tend to focus on a single product, but the point of “Something for Everyone” is to show there’s a Scratch game for everyone. The four 15-second spots showcase several games, such as Crossword, Bingo and Poker, and inform viewers that Scratch tickets sell at seven price points ranging from $1 to $50 and that prizes span from $50 to $3 million. The work primarily targets light Lottery players who have the most potential for increasing their spending on Scratch tickets. Many people, who don’t normally play the Lottery throughout the year, buy or receive tickets as gifts during the holiday season (November to January). This fact offers the Colorado Lottery a chance to remind infrequent players how much fun they had playing the games and purchasing tickets. Core players are a secondary target. The Colorado Lottery launches 40 to 45 unique games each year and has 24 games available at any given time for quick-match addicts, strategic thinkers, math lovers and casino fans. Folksam is one of the largest insurance companies in Sweden with around 4 million customers. It’s also Sweden’s oldest insurance company, founded in 1905 as a cooperation. In this campaign we wanted to give something back to the clients (who are also the owners). First up is Eva, who has her cat insured in Folksam. As a part of the internet campaign we also give people the opportunity to decide what the next commercial should be about.
