M6 Mobile is one of the mobile leaders for teenagers in France. In 2012, they launched a campaign depicting the younger generation being able to change their world into a better, funnier and more entertaining place, thanks to their mobile carrier. Idea: Wouldn't it be cool if we just make their world better for real ? With Instagram, users take a photo of everything they find boring, ugly, sad, uncool, and propose how you would change it, improve it or enhance it. Then, they share it with the world using the hashtag #wouldn't it rock if. If the post becomes popular, we make it happen! In the following 2 months, we made the dreams of M6 Mobile fans come true, bringing to life the contributions that got the most likes. We wrote, produced, and broadcast 1 episode per week, keeping the campaign totally real-time and intimately connected to our fans. A giant graffiti painted on a wall, a cool skateboard video on the snow, a comedy, a sports program, a zombie movie and we even sent someone to the moon. Sometimes it was for real, and sometimes it was fiction but each time, the fan was the hero of the content. From a traditional campaign message, we came up with a real-time production of cool contents, intimately linked to the real everyday concerns of our fans. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has served the people of Afghanistan for 30 years. And it’s not stopping now. The organisation remains operational across the country, together with their partner the Afghan Red Crescent Society. To generate much-needed support for the organisation, Wunderman Thompson has created a data-led film, ‘React For Real’. Inspired by the timeless expression, ‘If I had a dollar for every time…’, the film demonstrates the potential monetary value of our reactions on social media. The team conducted an intensive data analysis of social media reactions as well as research on real-time needs in Afghanistan for ICRC. Anonymous data was garnered, studied, and analysed to highlight the emojis and hashtags that were most commonly used in response to this crisis. Wunderman Thompson Dubai worked together with teams in Sydney, Seattle, London, and New York to bring this global Digital advertisement created by WPP, United Arab Emirates for International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), within the category: Public Interest, NGO.

According to a study, over 40% of girls quit sports during their teenage years. Although this statistic is highly disturbing, it doesn’t come as a surprise. The prejudice against women in sports is such deep-rooted issue that even after years, the organisations which have aimed to address this, have only been able to generate a few ripples. Adidas wanted to create a tide. While looking for reasons, we came across a startling fact. A study by UNESCO indicates, only 4% of sports news is dedicated to women. This heavy media bias which is often ignored, is a rather significant contributor to this scenario. We decided to change that narrative. Our Idea: 50/50 Instead of buying TV spots, outdoor spaces and newspaper columns, Adidas buys air time on TV and an extra page in newspapers to ensure equal distribution between men and women sports news. In turn, giving young girls what they need the most, idols, inspirations, and stars they can aspire to be. Integrated advertisement created by Miami Ad School, India for Adidas, within the categories: Fashion, Retail Services.
