Let’s face it, it’s no child’s play to keep kids entertained, a task that’s proved especially challenging in the last year. Ask the parents and they will list down all kinds of makeshift entertainment alternatives they’ve had to invent. But among all these struggles, we forget about the unsung heroes who have been carrying the lion’s share of this burden. It’s not the parents, not even the teachers, it’s the toys that have been overused and much-abused. With that in mind, Momentum MENA and Yas Island created the world’s first ToyTalks – a quirky, outlandish fusion between Toy Story and TedTalks, where tired toys are finally speaking up and sharing their lockdown traumas in hopes of getting families to leave them alone and have an epic break on Yas Island with the Kids Go Free offer. Paying weird yet wonderful homages to some of the world’s most iconic toys and taking a few playful jabs at competing destinations, the campaign features original characters like Mr. Fire Tyres, Bathtub Dolphin, Marbie, and Iron Bro, all of whom deliver a unique monologue and keep the audiences engaged and entertained. Much like Yas Island itself. Speaking of entertainment, the campaign also promises to go beyond just social content. There are Toy Repair pop-ups where families get to restore their toys and win a discounted vacation to Yas; a Toy Trade-In radio activation; engaging influencer content; and even a @ToyTalkers Instagram handle where the toys share their woes. The campaign is further amplified by online competitions and a partnership stunt. Last year, Cancer@Work unveiled the "Fighting Cancer" campaign with the FamousGrey Paris agency. This campaign has enabled the Cancer@Work association to change the way we look at cancer patients by creating the first LinkedIn skill that valorize their experience with illness. This year, Cancer@Work has chosen to go even further, by giving former patients the opportunities to re-enter the labor market, by creating The Unstoppable Résumé. Nowadays, the recruiting world is more and more computerized: 95% of large companies and 50% of SMEs use recruitment software called ATS (Applicant Tracking System). This software is programmed to analyze CVs. They cross-reference dates or ranges of experiences and search for specific keywords. Therefore, they are able to exclude a CV that contains a period of inactivity like a recovery period. For people affected by cancer, finding work is extremely complicated because of the blank space left by the disease on their CV. To give cancer patients as much chance as other candidates to get interviews, Cancer@Work has created an online platform called The Unstoppable Résumé. By connecting on unstoppableresume.com with their LinkedIn account, cancer patients can automatically generate a CV that transforms this blank space that could exclude them from the process into a strength. This period is filled with a text that contains the skills they developed during their fight against cancer. Written in white on white, this text, invisible to the naked eye, allows CVs generated via the platform to pass through the filters of recruiters’ software. The Unstoppable Résumé is therefore a great tool to help cancer patients get the interviews they deserve. What would make you smile in a life where you wake up exactly at the same time, drive through the same roads, arrive at the same place and do the same things every day over and over again? A good sleep? Not enough. The morning coffee? To some extent. The company car? How so? Like this. Your alarm goes off. You wake up. It’s still dark outside. You have to go to work. You get up from bed. You look out from the window and ta-da! There it is. The company car. It’s waiting for you, “let’s roll together!” it says. At that moment, “El Bimbo” starts to play in your head. The campaign for the fleet leasing company, Hedef Filo consists of four TVCs. It shows us the misery of waking up early and going to work, the stress of a job interview, the tiredness from working all day, and the tension that arises from being stranded on the road while going to a very important meeting. And in these stressful moments, seeing the company car on a platform revolving in all its beauty with “El Bimbo” playing in the head, it lightens the mood.
