Sometimes when you own a home you can find yourself in an ugly situation where you need to sell it fast and move on with your life. In the first spot for HomeVestors®, we see a family living in a home with obvious foundation problems – everything is tilted. They are in their kitchen having dessert. The husband asks his wife to pass the pudding. When she sets the dish in front of him it slides off the table. The voiceover says, “When things get ugly call the We Buy Ugly Houses People.” The spot is resolved with a HomeVestors® employee showing the couple how he can help them by buying their house. The second spot involves an errant husband. Kiran, of The Cavalry Productions, directed these comedic spots (part of a 3-spot campaign) for the HomeVestors brand. Those struggling with opioid addiction are likely to keep it hidden due to negative stigma. How do we educate the people closest to them to watch for the red flags, so that they can help their loved ones, before it’s too late? In honor of International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31, Netflix, in collaboration with FCB, introduces #WatchforRedFlags. For a month, Netflix will use their most popular series to educate people on the symptoms that signal an Opioid Addiction. Throughout the shows, anytime a character portrays a behavior or sign of opioid addiction, a Red Flag will appear in the corner of the scene, with a popup explaining the behavior and what it could mean. Using our most harmless addiction - Netflix - we build awareness and fight the stigma around a much more deadly addiction. Opioid addiction is closer to home than you think. But by seeing the Red Flags, you are already one step closer to helping those struggling with addiction Digital advertisement created by Miami Ad School, United States for Netflix, within the category: Media.
Among the things that teens share online, one of the most powerful are coming out videos. Videos where they record themselves telling their parents they are different from other teens. That they are gay. We recreated that moment and filmed new coming out videos. But, instead of coming out gay, teens came out mutant, showing their parents their special abilities. A touching and heartwarming moment, just like the real coming out videos. But ours ended with a bleak twist. Sirens approached the home and a tagline introduced teens to The Gifted: What if you were hunted for being yourself? We understood that the most promising way to show millennials that Sonnet is there for all their big life moments is by protecting their optimism around their everyday negative moments. The internet has a lot of pessimistic content. We decided to flip these pessimistic moments online into positive ones. We created 'Drag & Drop', a plugin that customers can download from Sonnet's website. The plugin replaces banner ads on the websites millennials visit most. People can drag and drop anything negative they see - comments, posts and more. The plugin spins negativity into fun content, while also rewarding customers with a discount on Sonnet's insurance.
