In Switzerland, about 20% of the population suffers from hay fever between January and August. During that season people try to avoid the outdoors, where they think they will encounter pollen. But the truth is, pollen spreads widely indoors too. To raise awareness about pollen’s indoor effects, Publicis Switzerland has run an unconventional advertising campaign for the pharmaceutical company Sanofi and their allergy products. The Pollen Lamps were displayed in different places to illustrate pollen dispersal. People not only know what pollen looks like now, they can even hang it proudly at home. Experiential advertisement created by Publicis, Switzerland for Sanofi, within the category: Pharmaceutical.

Fribourg public transports now offers night buses. That’s great news for night lovers who usually end their night in the last opened Kebab or Pizza place. So we used the typical LED or neon signs that any night lover would immediately recognize. To let them know that, from now on, they can also count on the bus to end their night perfectly. A MINI has only the things it really needs. That means getting rid of the superfluous and keeping an eye on the essentials. MINI calls this MINIMALISM. First the billboard was dismantled. The metal plate with its many layers of paper was then taken away to be sand-blasted. There the old board was partly covered with a stencil from the British sporty lifestyle brand which included the «BE MINI» lettering. Then the uncoated metal layer of the board was exposed. But only in certain places, of course. But the poster was still not completely reduced down to the bare essentials. To do this, a creative touch was now called for to carefully strip away up to eight layers of posters underneath until there really was nothing left to remove. Then the poster was returned to its rightful place, now as a genuine, unique work of art. But because MINI is serious about MINIMALISM, the British carmaker demonstrated its art of omission not just on one unique poster but on over 20 displayed all over Switzerland. Because keeping an eye on the essentials is important everywhere. Outdoor advertisement created by FCB, Switzerland for Mini, within the category: Automotive.

On February 9th 2014, 50.3% of the Swiss voters expressed their desire to limit and regulate the so called 'mass immigration'. This decision attempts to abolish the bilateral agreements, established in 1999 between Switzerland and the EU, which lead to the opening of the borders and defined the rules for free movement of persons and workers. In the eyes of Europe and of the entire world, this extreme, narrow-minded and hard decision darkens and blurs the idea of an international, open-minded and Human Rights promoting Switzerland. The Other Half is the 49.7 percent who are now ashamed of their country and who wish it to be known for its openness, generosity and creativity. Because creativity gives birth to new ideas, new schemes and new solutions.
