Using sense of humor, already characteristic of the brand, the aim was to represent that sensational moment you have when you notice that you've won a bet. And nothing shows this brief moment like... Well, you've watched the spot. Nothing shows it like that. Shot in Bulgaria, directed by Manson and produced by Canada, it relies on the incredible VFX developed by El Ranchito, postproduction house known by their work for Game of Thrones. Hi Ads of the World, Think diversity is ruining advertising? You're not alone. A new agency, Doug NYC, just launched in order to provide a white space in the industry. Doug NYC is an all-white, male-led creative agency that believes being homogeneous is genius. The DougNYC.com site, backdropped in calming shades of white, welcomes visitors to the Future of Advertising. A video, “We’re Doug,” asks people to “Believe in the power of sameness.” One image on the site reads, “If great minds think alike, we're the greatest!” Sound backwards and...well, stupid? Doug was created as a parody by L.A. independent agency Dailey, which, since its 2017 buyback from IPG, has consciously tried to hire and promote for diversity. Dailey created the agency to promote its SXSW panel, “How Diversity Became Our Implicit Bias.” As viewers watch it, the site (and video) start to glitch, saying, “The future of advertising is diverse. Get the real answers.” Clicking on the video or the “learn more” button leads to the information page for the panel. Doug NYC is posting once a day on its Instagram page. Following the success of last year’s award-winning Upside Down Kitchen campaign with Hannah Hart, Glad once again shows us the sealing power of Press’n Seal—this time with a rugged, Off-Road Kitchen Challenge starring popular YouTube Creator, comedian and TV and podcast host, Grace Helbig. In the video, Grace attempts to make an elegant, “Instagram-worthy” poke bowl—all while bumping along a country road in a kitchen built on the back of a moving flatbed truck. Using a variety of fresh ingredients (we’re talking fish!), sealed safely in their bowls with Press’n Seal, Grace peels back the seal one by one to release the ingredients and hilariously assemble the final dish.
