To get the attention of a well-known independent agency, Zulu Alpha Kilo, we created The No! Specs™; special glasses we 3D printed as an ode to Zulu’s stand against spec work. The pairs were designed for each fake agency “founder” and packaged in customized boxes inspired by their parody website’s inside jokes, graphic elements, and satirical tone. We then created a fake courier service, FedUp With Spec, and hand-delivered the package to their office dressed as FedUp employees.

Why a bar in Zagreb served drinks without ice? Despite the unbearable heat in August, some bars in Zagreb and Belgrade have been serving drinks without ice. Only a straw and a sign was put inside the glass saying “Wondering why there’s no ice? It would be much cooler if you did something about global warming.” This was a message from WWF, one of the largest independent global preservation of nature organizations. They also served the guests with a few simple tips&tricks about how each one of us can decrease climate change every day. The guests could get their ice only if they shared a photo of their drink and spread the message via social media. “Climate changes are huge issue and if we don’t do something about it, it will become an even greater problem tomorrow. This is our way of increasing awareness about how each one of us can help. Don’t just sit there and watch the ice melt!”, say in WWF Adria. In late June the Moscow Raceway saw the Russian phase of the legendary DTM race for the 5th time. The Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters series was created by German automobile manufacturers in 2000, and since then such market giants as BMW, Audi and Mercedes measure each other’s innovative capacities in their own racing tour. Today DTM is the most popular touring car competition in Europe. The Moscow event saw over 30,000 visitors. During the latest competition DEPARTÁMENT was responsible for BMW presence. To do this, the agency’s team built a breathtakingly creative pavilion. We put the new BMW M4 Coupe Competition on a huge construction roof consisting of multiple lines. We bound it in two planes and made a clear impression that the car was driving along a track, appearing right out of a curve. In the pavilion painted in BMW’s series M three signature colors we created a lot of interactive hype. No wonder our pavilion became the most visited site out of three – the guests got a figurative shot of adrenaline, emotions and entertainment at the show.
