Liga de Quito is the only Ecuadorian football club that has won all the international titles in South America, which is why it is called “El Rey de Copas” (Spanish for “The King of Trophies”). Banco Pichincha, official sponsor of La Liga, wanted to take advantage of a football match as an opportunity for the fans to demonstrate their passion for their favorite team. By using audio&data, we created a trophy made with the cheering of the 50.000 fans who attended Liga de Quito’s stadium. We placed sensors that recorded the frequency and resounding intensity provoked by the chanting of the followers, which was captured by software that sent the data to a 3D printer in real time. The images produced by the waves originated the shape of this unique trophy that no other football club has. The campaign started on April with a teaser presented by Manu Gavassi singer in her YouTube channel. The first part of the video had its début on the night of May 20, on Vevo’s channel on YouTube. When clicking the “play” button, fans were surprised by the interruption of the video and, afterwards, they received a message inviting them to donate blood. Following this message, the second part of the video was shown on May 23. Finally, on May 25, the whole music video was released and remained available for fans to view. In our new top-to-bottom rebranding campaign for jewelry retailer Jared, we created something that celebrates devotion in all its forms. The work here depicts vignettes with roles reversed, reimagined and reconstructed in moments of celebration both quiet and exuberant: a nightclub engagement; an unexpected moment of surprise in front of strangers; and a couple’s love creating a blended family in a morning campsite proposal. All proving that the desire to commit ourselves deeply to another person is something we all share, even if the players in every story are different. El Cronista Comercial launched its new institutional campaign enabling an audience less specialized in finances to experience economics as never before. The stars in each piece are some of the new followers on El Cronista’s Facebook fanpage. Called to an aerodrome in the outskirts of Buenos Aires, they were invited to partake in flights aboard aerobatic aircrafts 5000 meters AMSL. Stock going up and down, figures, percentages, and interest rates traditionally expressed into charts were reproduced in flights through vertical drops and ascents at 150 kph. At the same time, the participants received earphones over which they were explained what each movement represented, so they would feel the tension caused by numerous crises, namely that of Greece, 2001, and the dot-com crisis, among others.
