Addressing the flashpoint topic of bullying, Vancouver Opera’s production of Stickboy aims to take opera back to its roots as a place for discussion and realization. Composed by Neil Weisensel with libretto by spoken-word artist Shane Koyczan, Stickboy is a courageous and visually stunning opera, which explores the inner life of a young boy transformed by bullying. To promote the show to a younger audience, Vancouver Opera and DDB Canada have created a powerful street art initiative. Clemenger BBDO Adelaide and Anifex built the 'Delite-o-matic' - an interactive vending machine that dispenses free packs of Fantastic Delites simply by pushing a button hundreds of times or by performing challenges. Tourism is the main source of income for the Dominican Republic. Only in 2017 more than 5.5 million tourists have visited the island, however, they tend to head to the very same 3 destinations: Punta Cana, Bávaro and La Romana beaches. This despite the fact that Dominican Republic has over 200 beach’s, each of them with its unique beauty. To promote the other less visited locations on the island, McCann Santo Domingo partnered with Sweet Memories Travel Agency, to create a first of its kind travel catalogue, which presented all the nation’s geolocated beaches, with real sand collected from each of them, and the true watercolor of them, composing a sort of coastal pantone of the country. Without a law regulating headphone use in Romania, traffic accidents related to headphone use have tripled in the last 6 years. Radio 21, Romanian hit radio station, changed its content to promote a new behavior: use just one headphone so you can hear the traffic around you. Working with famous Romanian artist Claudia Pavel, the radio station launched the Go Mono Anthem, the first song that has different genres in each headphone: rock if you use the left headphone and acoustic if you listen to it in the right headphone. Everyone looks forward to better sex on holiday. In fact, 52% of us expect better sex whilst away, but 60% admit the reality did not live up to expectations - according to a recent Durex survey asking 2000 adults about their holiday 'sexpectations'. The survey showed 40% of people are less likely to instigate sex if their partner is on their phone in bed and 41% admitted nights on holiday with their partner can be spent in bed together concentrating on separate phones rather than each other.
