Whosyabuddah: From physical love to daily digital karma! Last friday on Buddha’s birthday we have launched Whosyabuddha. He drops hip hop flavored wisdom for those who give him physical love. If you rub his belly with a NFC-chip (RFID) he will send you some digital daily karma through Twitter to kickstart your day. To enter our headquarters in Utrecht (the Netherlands) we use an NFC-chip. That gave us the idea to give our collegeas something extra with their daily check-in. A small act of kindness besides a nice cup of coffee, that charges their karma before they start their workday. When you rub Whosyabuddha's belly with the NFC-chip, a public transport card or a mobile phone, an Arduino unit will read the chip. After this Whosyabuddha will search for the perfect wisdom in the holy database. Through text to speech hip hop flavored wisdom will be spoken by Whosyabuddha. Simultaneously, a tweet will be sent via the Twitter API to the person in question. From thuglife to huglife! Give it a try and pay us a visit or send a tweet to @whosyabuddha. Our client, The League Against Cancer, came to us with a problem. last years lockdown put them almost on bankruptcy. They needed exposure and everyone to talk about their National Fundraising which was going to be fully digital since they can't go out to the streets. We realized a similarity, there are many LEAGUES in the world with a lot of attention, The champions League, the NFL, the MLB, the Premiere League as well as many others, and we are also a League... the League Against Cancer. So, we did what happens in any league, we convinced a famous football player to place a story claiming that he was about to change to a new LEAGUE in Perú. After the media talked about it, he told everyone that he was going to play for the LEAGUE Against Cancer. Influencers joined, made their teams and got volunteers as well as donations as a way to play here. Making us a trending topic, inviting everyone to join the league and achieving outstanding results with just one story. One story got over 6 Billion Impressions One Story Triple our donations (+330%) One Story got a historic record of volunteers (+427%) One Story made The League Against Cancer, the trending League in the country. Every spring in Latvia comes with a huge increase in bicycle thefts. Everyone knows it, but because of the state laws, police can’t do much about it. We had to change the situation, so we made an experiment called “Velofenders” (Bike theft).It involved 5 bikes equipped with GPS trackers, multiple online cameras, 16000 crime witnesses, every bike thief in Latvia and the local police. After the project IR magazine raised the topic and because of our experiment state police admitted that there is something wrong with the laws, so now they are working on a new and hopefully better law.
