Glad has always been a brand that promises a stronger stand against waste, they were already innovating around 2 of the 3 R’s: Reduce (by utilizing less plastic in our bags¬) and Recycle (by supporting recycling programs, like Keep America Beautiful and creating specialized products). But the question remained: how could they apply the 3rd R (Reuse) to their bags? Additionally, although the kitchen is usually their domain and Women (homemakers) are their target, we wanted to go broader (waste happens everywhere!) and younger (connect with consumers before and as they enter the category). So we came up with an idea that would help the brand and their target take the fight against waste from the kitchen to the (outside) world, applying the “Reuse” principle to their product and building a relevant connection with Millennials. And so The Glad Tent was born, a product intended to be used as a tent during Music Festivals (where people camp for days), and as a bag, at the end of the Festival, to dispose of people’s trash. This way Glad would make the stand against waste – even when people are just thinking of having fun – easier and cooler. Brazil talks about soccer 24/7 in all sorts of media. And since every major soccer league in the world has a signature song, we saw an opportunity to finally give the Orchestra some of the attention soccer always has. We invited Antonio Pinto, a Brazilian Hollywood composer, to write a song in partnership with musicians from Heliópolis. The song became the new São Paulo’s State Championship theme tune and was played during game openings and broadcasts, turning the championship’s visibility into free advertising for Heliópolis Orchestra. That was an orchestra that made the headlines in a country mad for soccer.

In order to announce the Puerto Rico Horror Film Fest, Badillo Saatchi & Saatchi created "AFTER DEATH", the first short film written by a dead person. The agency contacted a medium and in a real séance, they channeled the spirit of María Mercé, who narrated a story which was then taken to the screen by Salado and Director Nico Lacouzzi. Prior to this, a small documentary was filmed with experts who confirmed the possibility that someone from beyond could be the source of a script. In the story a couple falls in love to the rhythm of a song. The man dies tragically but he doesn't want to stop dancing to the song's tune with his live loved one. One day she decides she doesn't want to keep on dancing and that's when the problems begin. The short feature which promoted the festival transcended the realm of advertising and it became a news item in over 20 countries. It has also been requested to participate in the official selection of several movie festivals, giving the Puerto Rico Horror Film Festival a media coverage never achieved to date. This action consisted of two trailers and a poster plus the short film itself.
