There’s something about a physical book. There’s something about an ebook. Wouldn’t it be lovely to combine these two into a most wanted book: the App Book. An innovative combination of old and new media, with a physical book and a digital app that interacts with and adds to the written interviews. We created The Next Ten: a book that highlights the constant need for innovation to anticipate and respond to the expected challenges and opportunities of the coming 10 years. With inspiring Dutch thinkers - and doers – in a wide range of fields. People like Rem Koolhaas, Onno Ruding and Boris Veldhuijzen van Zanten talk about the business and social themes they believe will be relevant in the next 10 years, and the innovative ways they expect the business community and the world at large to respond to this rapidly changing world. They provide insight into changes that will affect how we live, how we work, how we view the world and how we interact. The App Book has been created in close collaboration with Accenture the Netherlands, celebrating its 10th anniversary with its sights set firmly on the future. The Harlem Shake became a global Internet hype in no-time. Millions participated. They danced the Harlem Shake like they lost control of their body for a moment. There’s no message behind it, it’s just plain fun to watch. But we do have a clear message: Parkinson’s patients lose control over their bodies, forever. There’s no acting in this film. De main character, a Parkinson’s patient (and the chairman of the foundation), is shown shaking out of control as a result of lack of his medication. Shaking. Fun for some… Daily struggle for others. When creating an advertising concept it often starts with a piece of paper and a pencil. With a good concept the idea comes to life and the magic starts. We used just basic tools for the animation, like paper, a pencil, a sharpener, an eraser, scissors, glue and a set square. When the sails of the Dutch windmill are turned, the whole scene comes to life. All elements pop up and the message ‘I WISH YOU CREATIVE HOLIDAYS’ appears. People can send the viral to their friends and can also download all graphics to get creative themselves. Nationale-Nederlanden, the biggest insurance company in The Netherlands introduces something new: Insurances. Not like the ones you know, but rock hard service promises like Insurance #1: 100% satisfaction with your car claim, or else 4 months premium back. This new proposition is communicated in a spot directed by Sam Cadman with Franz Lustig as DOP. We see a contemporary 'Family von Trapp' happily singing 'do re mi' while passing a bucket. Only in the end we see why: their beloved family van is engulfed in raging flames. But the family of nine is carefree as can be. Thanks to the Insurance of Nationale-Nederlanden.
