This Guinness spec was made by Miami Ad School students Tadhg Ennis and Brendan Irving. While both working as bartenders to pay for their tuitions, they came up with the idea to make a branded content piece that talks about the correlation between the bartender and a pint of Guinness. Just like Guinness, the bartender is more than meets the eye. They are a group of philosophers, comedians, artists, and rogues. A distinct group that is complex on many levels. We take time growing into our skin, but once we do we are full of character and unapologetically authentic.

Often stroke awareness messaging can be heavy and alarmist, highlighting signs of stroke and the potentially scary outcomes after. In order to balance a difficult subject, the team went with a lighter creative style to engage an audience that may not want to necessarily listen and to contrast the scariness of the subject. The spot is based on insights that people with risk factors are least likely to pay attention to strokes due to a mentality that it usually happens to someone else. People who have strokes often aren’t aware when it's happening to them and are often unable to seek help themselves. Knowing that people having a stroke are often confused or helpless, the spot also aims to appeal to those around them. The past year took a heavy toll on the mental health of athletes everywhere as they experienced competition delays, isolation from family and friends, injuries and career uncertainty. To provide an extra boost to world-class athletes along their journey, Allianz is introducing a new initiative called the Allianz Support Dog Squad. In association with non-profit organizations Love on 4 Paws and Little Angels, Allianz will provide a squad of 50+ trained emotional support dogs to international skateboarders training in Los Angeles as they prepare for their Olympic debut as well as other upcoming international competitions – including Leticia Bufoni (Brazil) and Dashawn Jordan (U.S.). Over the course of multiple sessions and weeks, Leticia, Dashawn and other attending skateboarders will participate in interactive sessions with emotional support dogs that are designed to enhance their mental health by reducing stress and anxiety, easing loneliness and increasing optimism, and elevating their overall self-esteem before they compete.
