This simple, voiceless campaign is titled “BOX –> OBX.” “OBX” is the Outer Banks’ signature oval destination sticker, as well as the first three characters on all Outer Banks license plates. “BOX,” of course, is what you might be in if you commute on smoggy 8-lane thruways or taxi through grid-locked city streets, if your eyes stay glued to a data-entry screen or you work late nights in a featureless complex. This campaign is like a traditional product demo (minus the shouting spokesperson), where you see the benefit happen in front of your eyes. Instead of the cleanser that removes grass and wine stains, or the knife so sharp it can cut a shoe, in our case, it’s the barrier islands that can cure the common city.” Film advertisement created by BooneOakley, United States for Outer Banks Visitors Bureau, within the category: Hospitality, Tourism.

We built the Homeless Webshop. The first website without an address, looking for shelter on other sites. It's a regular webshop where you can buy virtual products, like warm clothes, sleeping bags or a room for the night, to support the homeless. But the Homeless Webshop has no address, so it has to be sheltered on other sites. All people had to do to give shelter to our webshop, was add a single line of code to their own website. An innovative way to support a charity. It was launched with a simple Facebook post, and the reactions were overwhelming. The webshop instantly found a home on dozens of websites and blogs, generating thousands of visitors - and sales. Belgium’s biggest news sites, the most popular magazines, and big national brands all featured our homeless webshop, generating over 1 million visitors for our webshop. Digital advertisement created by TBWA, Belgium for Solidarité Grands Froids, within the category: Public Interest, NGO.
Joanna Bailey, along with MullenLowe, has made a thought-provoking film highlighting the lazy and harmful stereotypes that still plague advertising. ‘The Problem is Not Seeing the Problem’ is a powerful film that serves as a stark reminder that the industry has a long way to go to remove these false preconceptions from its output. It was created for the Unstereotype Alliance, the industry-led initiative convened by UN Women - the lead UN agency on gender equality & woman’s rights. Film advertisement created by MullenLowe Group, United Kingdom for Unstereotype Alliance, within the category: Public Interest, NGO.
Here’s a short film about love, time and concrete we at Strays, an ad agency in Stockholm, did for Formbetong to launch their first holistic communication concept - Alla tiders betong. Which roughly translates to ”A Concrete Story." Formbetong has been around for a long time and has has grown into Sweden's leading construction company in the concrete industry, but it is only now that they take a holistic approach to their marketing and communication. With the new concept the brand wants to dramatize the central part of the company's business - that generations to come will be able to benefit from the buildings that Formbetong is building today. We were thrilled with the idea that each concrete building has several lives, since concrete is incredibly durable, and is rediscovered by every new generation. And since Formbetong cherished the idea that the concept should first and foremost be about people and not concrete the 5-minute short film depicts young love throughout several decades. The concrete's presence consists only of the concrete roof on which every decade takes place on. Film advertisement created by Strays, Sweden for Frombetong, within the category: Professional Services.
