The walls and floors of all these shower rooms were covered with stickers made using special hydrochromic ink. At CES 2019 in Las Vegas, the United States Postal Service showed off the Connected Mailbox, a device that tells you when the mail is in and a whole lot more. First of all, this device is a prototype. USPS is still looking for a hardware partner to get this thing made, so none of the features are final. I say this because the one I saw seems to do everything, and sometimes stuff like that doesn't make it into the final production unit. The obvious thing you can do is get an alert when the mail arrives. But it's also connected to Google Assistant and/or Amazon Alexa, so you can have your Philips Hue lights turn a certain color when the mail arrives. You can also set up a camera to record people getting the mail. That way, if someone tampers with your mail, you'll be able to see it. One of the things that USPS was pushing at CES was its Informed Delivery service, which already works. This is a service that will send you an email every morning with your scanned mail items, so you can already see what you're going to receive. If you see something particularly exciting, you might be outside checking the mail multiple times a day. But the cool thing is that with the Connected Mailbox, you can now be alerted when that item actually arrives. Encouraging people to become an organ donor comes with challenges. Being reminded of death, ‘tempting fate’ or just wanting to avoid the conversation can create significant barriers. Many report being in favor of organ donation, but fail to register. Approximately 86,000 people across Europe are waiting for a life-saving transplant, of which 16 will die today while they wait. We took on this issue with urgency and poignancy in “Speed Donating”. Speed Donating’s comedic set up and the heightened reality of the ending is what makes it unique and thought provoking. Whilst the speed daters criticize one other, the transplant patient provides authenticity and a powerful change in tone. The patient’s emotional message directed to the audience emphasizes their life-threatening need for a match. It compels the audience to become a donor, which takes just minutes – less time than it takes to speed date.

The new N PLAY is the series and films stream of the portuguese brand NOS. We’ve used a ‘train’ to convey the idea of an endless journey through the series world and binge watching behaviour. One can hop on and hop off whenever one likes. The ‘train driver’ is the Portuguese actor Nuno Lopes (Best Actor – Veneza Festival 2016 and Shooting Star Award at Berlin International Film Festival). Goal To turn poetry into a functional interior accessory, popularize poetry through the city streets, engage the poetry community and launch at the main literature event in Kyiv. Solution When designing the poetry book, we decided to play around its name – “Room Temperature”. That’s why a thermometer stem was attached to the book spine. As a result, when this book is on a shelf, it serves a function, instead of merely collecting dust. We managed to create a simple and clear visual identity with the use of lines, and in each geometric form of it the corners and walls of a room could be observed. A red and blue line appeared near pagination numbers. They once again refer the reader to the thermometer, where red colour goes up, and blue colour goes down.
