Our campaign is a direct intervention in each one of Paradiso’s radio user’s app transmission. Whenever the listener is driving, the app measures their speed and the car’s location. This way, if the driver goes over the speed limit, the radio transmission is interrupted for this driver only and they receive the sound penalty. The penalty’s audio explains that the driver is over the speed limit and therefore will have to listen to one minute of Government Hour – the most tedious public radio program. When this minute is over, all the driver has to do is stay within the speed limit that the radio’s schedule go back to normal. The Government Hour is a standardized compulsory broadcast for all stations, which takes place at 7 pm every evening. This law exists for over 82 years, and is a nightmare for every Brazilian. Also, it is very relevant to consider that Rio de Janeiro’s traffic is the 8th worst in the world. For many years Hohes C was showcasing mums as caretakers, who provide kids with healthy fruit juice. We thought: it’s time to change this. Let’s give care back to the mums. So, in 2017 exactly on Mother’s Day, we released a film. The response was overwhelming. People not only watched and shared the film, but they really took action - young people tagged their moms to invite them for a healthy jog. Celebrities and opinion leaders supported our cause, shared their own stories and helped us to reach and mobilize more than 1 million. The cause became a real hot topic, people not only participated in it but even proposed different tips and programs on how we can give care back to our mums. We know every woman has a strong relationship with her hair. It is something that affects self-esteem and personality directly. We take this link to show the importance of another type of care: prevention of breast cancer. In a beauty salon, and unaware that they were being filmed, clients were invited by their hairdressers to change their hairstyle. However, instead of those books with images of beautiful hairstyles, they received a book especially produced for the action, with women in treatment, that is, with short hair or even no hair at all. The impact was so great that in addition to being aware of the prevention of cancer, they decided to donate part of the hair for the production of wigs. Violence against women is a serious problem of society, one out of every three women has suffered some kind of abuse throughout their lives. Usually, verbal abuse is the first sign of violence against women. A sort of abuse that few people give the right amount of importance, and even less imagine it could escalate to a more dangerous and damaging situation. Vida Mujer, the NGO that helps and assists any women that suffer any kind of aggression, decided to create a prevention campaign through radio spot. Where the only women in the world that can't defend themselves tell their stories of abuse, hoping to encourage every other woman to speak up and ask for help. The aim of the campaign is primarily to educate users to a more responsible and safety usage of the platform (and of course secondarily to be also an educational campaign for everyone who usually buys online). AAUW fights to promote equity and education for women and girls. A pillar of that fight is equal pay. Lady Dollars shows the harm of the gender pay gap on a practical level. In addition to the Chrome Extension, which adds 20% to product prices, the campaign website provides information, resources, and a video, all designed to educate and encourage action to close the gender pay gap. The extension will be updated throughout the year to reflect every Equal Pay Day.

DUO by AmazonFresh introduces a unique ecommerce experience - especially for foodies - that also showcases the wide range of products available on the platform. Foodies would be able to select whether they would like to shop by recipe or ingredient and the platform would use its smart algorithm to complete the shopping list. Shazam is an app that recognizes and identifies songs for people. However it’s technology could be used in different ways to identify different sounds. There’s a particular field of interest that could greatly benefit from such a technology, such as pharmaceuticals. When it comes to treating colds, Doctors agree that catching them at their earliest stage of symptoms is most effective. Therefor we came up with an idea for Tylenol using Shazam’s technology called Shazam Cold. People who feel an oncoming cold could use the app, and cough into its sound recognition system, in order to be prescribed the right type of medicine and dosage from a team of doctors.
