The Problem: Many parts of North Carolina are in shambles due to Hurricane Matthew. Over 100,000 homes and business were affected in October of 2016. With the Disaster Relief Fund underfunded, they’re in need of help. Solution: Tesla and SolarCity will donate their new solar roofs to the relief efforts. In return, they’ll receive the roofs’ excess solar energy, which usually has to be purchased back from the property owner. With the average home producing 20-40% more energy than it uses, the resale value of this energy will make for an even trade, covering the full cost of restoring North Carolina. The Result: North Carolina is transformed into a powerhouse for sustainable energy, and thousands of people once again have a roof over their head. Lufthansa was expanding its network to new long-haul sun destinations and the main goal was to attract as many relevant users from Europe as possible to book their overseas flight. For this purpose, we created and developed a Dreamscapes website that presented 7 new and attractive destinations where Lufthansa operates: Maldives, Mauritius, Cancún, Tampa, Panama, San Jose and Nairobi. In an effort to step away from the typical travel guide and sandy beaches content one would expect when presenting a vacation destination, we decided to introduce the unique, interesting and little-known facts about each destination. Of course, there’s no denying the pristine beaches and crystal clear ocean, but we chose to communicate them through visuals and focus the content on stories that would convey the spirit of the people and the destination. Working parents spend less than 36 minutes of quality time each day with their children due to the demands of everyday life. We decided to help parents connect more with their families through a toy car called Family Sync which utilizes BMW Connected Drive, an integrated navigation system that directs drivers to their destination, precisely on time. Family sync activates the moment a parent chooses “HOME” as a destination on their Connected Drive. The windshield of the toy car then displays a countdown to the arrival time along with a real-time map of the car’s location. An additional feature includes the ability for children to send voice messages as well.
