On 29 december 2015 five creative teams got some help with their returning end-of-the-year struggle: finding the perfect music for their casefilms. That day creatives of Dutch agencies Lemz, Havas, N=5, Selmore and Buutvrij had a complete band at their disposal for one hour: the Soundcircus Casefilmband. This 5 piece live band had only one goal: creating unique and perfectly matching music for the creatives’ case. When the teams arrived at the recording studio, they handed in their casefilm. Within one hour the Casefilmband members composed, played and produced the casefilm music, on the spot. With this idea recording studio Soundcircus not only helped out Dutch creatives, they also showed to the creative industry that they are the right place to get great music for their next campaign. A baggage car from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport gets lost like a tourist in Antwerp. It’s an advertising stunt for Schiphol because “Schiphol, is closer than you think.” Especially for people in Belgium who are accustomed to depart from Belgium Airports. The baggage car is driving through the main square, attracting all kinds of attention. The Dutch driver goes around asking how to get to Schiphol. Some people were helpful with instructions like “drive along the Schelde”, the river that runs in Antwerp, and “keep on for two kilometres then ask again”. Users choose what type of answer they would like SiriClaus to respond with from four popular Santa questions. Mimicking the Siri experience, SiriClaus then gives the user a hilarious response to the question they chose. Some fun examples are below: A: Yes, but Santa Claus only comes when you pick up your toys. He doesn’t like tripping over your toys. A: Santa isn’t coming because your messy room scared him away. A: No. Santa Claus’s records show that you have enough toys. A: Naughty. But maybe if you give your mom a foot rub Santa will change his mind. In our new top-to-bottom rebranding campaign for jewelry retailer Jared, we created something that celebrates devotion in all its forms. The work here depicts vignettes with roles reversed, reimagined and reconstructed in moments of celebration both quiet and exuberant: a nightclub engagement; an unexpected moment of surprise in front of strangers; and a couple’s love creating a blended family in a morning campsite proposal. All proving that the desire to commit ourselves deeply to another person is something we all share, even if the players in every story are different.
