We created #BeGolden to improve the way we welcome immigrants to our community. Thanks to the universal unifying power of The Golden Rule, we were able to get city officials, religious leaders, and businesses to rally and giving the #BeGolden campaign tremendous momentum throughout North Texas. The campaign got the Mayor’s Office to implement #BeGolden as a cornerstone of the City’s Welcoming Program, several DISD schools have added #BeGolden to their class projects, and other cities have adopted #BeGolden as part of their community outreach programs. A notion as elementary as The Golden Rule was able to bring people’s guards down and embrace what brings us together, rather than focus on what set us apart. The campaign, created by BBC Creative with BBC Sport Marketing and animated by Blinkink, journeys through World Cup history via the skill of Diego Maradona, the flair of Zinedine Zidane and the emotion of Paul Gascoigne, to a preview of the most exciting talents of this year’s finals including Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Harry Kane. Animated launch film The Tapestry, directed by Nicos Livesey, takes us on a journey through iconic moments from the competition’s illustrious past, and introduces us to the faces that will surely create memories this time around. The team have modernized the traditional tapestry technique by creating a dynamic film in which every single frame has been individually embroidered. More than 227,000 metres of thread were used to create over 600 unique frames of tapestry, that if laid end-to-end would measure over 1,200 metres in length. Humanaut launched an integrated marketing campaign for client Organic Valley, an all-organic cooperative of more than 2000 family farmers producing milk, eggs, cheese, and butter. The campaign aims to build the brand's awareness amid a growing flood of greenwashing and confusing health claims in the food and beverage industry. The new campaign calls out how the competition uses sunny marketing images and vague jargon to cover up for less-than-ideal farming practices. The ads make a sharp contrast between industrial farming practices and the way Organic Valley food is made, on small family farms, without the use of toxic chemicals, hormones, GMOs or antibiotics.
