The powerful spot, “Time to Rise,” features actress, model, and activist Corinne Foxx with appearances by TV personality Nigel Barker and his daughter Jasmine, as well as a diverse group of other Girl Up supporters who recite William Ernest Henley’s poem, “Invictus.” It creates a defiant chorus of women with the men in quiet support. Finally, everyone stops and looks defiantly at the camera as Corinne declares the final line, triumphant and alone: “I am the captain of my soul.” As the screen fades to black, text appears encouraging viewers to join the fight for equality at girlup.org/TimeToRise. Through this effort, Girl Up is looking to tap into the global movement for gender equality to reach and excite a new generation of young women and girls, as well as the men and boys who want to partner with them. The video was produced in partnership with Berlin Cameron, the creative agency on the video. Educating the population about condom usage on their sexual intercourse has became each day more important. However, in Brazil and in other countries around the world, there's a common saying stating that “Sex with a condom is like eating candy with the wrapper on” - an old perception that harms the STD prevention investment made by brands and government. To fight this common saying and highlight all the new Jontex Real Feel benefits – a latex free condom, that allows a real skin-skin touch sensation - the brand, in partnership with BETC São Paulo, launched a campaign with an unusual concept: an edible candy wrapper, to prove that eating candy with a wrapper on and have sexual intercourse with condom can be both delicious. The brand sent a special kit with the candy and the new Jontex Real Feel to digital influencers and distributed samplings in bars. Throughout the film, it's possible to conclude that everyone who tried it realized that eating candy with the wrapper on and having sexual intercourse with the condom on can be. By doing this, Jontex hopes to redefine a common saying and, at the same time, improve prevention. Direct advertisement created by BETC, Brazil for Jontex, within the category: Health.

This film travels around the city of Brisbane to bring the most obscure and intriguing stories back to the Museum. It does this via a bicycle that’s equipped with 256 ultra-bright LEDs on each wheel. At speed, the LEDs blend to show a video animation and the wheels become a lens to the past. For example, a Bengal tiger named Jimmy who chased a man along Turbot Street in 1888. Or Australia’s first experimental TV broadcast that took place from a windmill on Wickham Terrace. But really, they’re just a tease to visit the Museum of Brisbane and find out more. Kelly Tarlton’s SEA LIFE Aquarium and animal trainer Mark Vette taught an octopus to take photos on a Sony TX30 underwater camera in New Zealand. Rambo, a female octopus, was a quick learner too. It only took three attempts for her to understand the process, that’s faster than a dog, actually it’s faster than a human in some instances. The Octographer currently lives at Kelly Tarlton’s SEA LIFE Aquarium in Auckland, New Zealand where visitors will be able to make a $2 donation, with all proceeds going back to the SEA LIFE Conservation Fund, an organization dedicated to the protection of marine wildlife and conservation. Export Development Canada (EDC) helps businesses take on the world, playing a critical role in Canadian economic development. From the onset of the COVID-19 crisis, EDC has been working alongside federal partners, including BDC and other Canadian financial institutions, to provide support to both exporting and non-exporting companies. Many of the companies EDC helped had to pivot hard and transform their businesses in response to COVID-19. Now, these businesses are using that experience to grow. A new campaign from EDC and McCann Montreal showcases their success. “If the past year has taught us anything, it’s that despite challenges, Canadians businesses are resilient.” said Daniel Boisvert, Vice President, Marketing and Digital Channels at Export Development Canada. “This campaign shows us how the shift in the way we do business has not only been why these businesses have survived, but how they’ve been able to grow moving forward.” In July 2020, Export Development Canada and McCann Montreal launched ‘Business as Unusual,’ a campaign born in the face of the pandemic, to celebrate and support the Canadian businesses forced to pivot to keep themselves afloat. Now, a year later, what became a pivot out of necessity has evolved in to how we move business forward. In light of this, EDC set out to inspire Canadian businesses to leave survival mode behind and adjust to our next normal through new market discovery with the launch of ‘The Unusual Way Forward’. The campaign features three stories from EDC customers -- Poseidon Ocean Systems, ThinkOn Inc., and Kinova Robotics -- showcasing the success they had by embracing new opportunities this last year. Knowing that many Canadian CEOs are confident in company growth in the coming years, ‘The Unusual Way Forward’ aims to motivate and inspire companies to get back to growth and build back better. “We’re proud to partner once again with Export Development Canada to spotlight how Canadians, and Canadian businesses, have built back better.” said Michelle Aboud, SVP Managing Director, McCann Montreal. “We hope these stories help to inspire and reenergize the Canadian entrepreneurial spirit.” Film advertisement created by McCann, Canada for Export Development Canada, within the category: Industrial, Agriculture.
