Partnering with agency RanaVerse, Unilever saw the opportunity to turn over the status of being an “official WorldPride sponsor” to six grassroots organizations, which otherwise would not have had access to a corporate Pride sponsorship. Be Internet Awesome is a nation wide program held by Google that pursues the teaching of the fundamentals of digital citizenship and safety to kids so they can explore the online world with confidence. This year, Orchid helped to conceptualize and build Be Internet Awesome kits, sent to various schools across the country. 800 kits were produced and shipped all across the United States, and kids, parents and teachers loved it! It consists of personalized PixelBooks, Internaut-shaped USB drives, posters and banners, Parent and Teacher guides as well as a trophy to recognize the school after the program has been complete

In addition, the creative industry is full of pressure + has pretty few regulations (read: is a bloody mess). This combination has resulted in an industry packed with people struggling with mental health issues, but despite how common it is, there is little to no conversation, information or actions made to change it, and many feel alone and abnormal when the troubles come knocking— which only amplifies the issues. Creative Confessions is an initiative out to change it :) Our mission is to 1) promote openness to fight feelings of loneliness and abnormality and 2) develop tools for schools, hubs and offices that can help prevent mental health issues. On the occasion of Ralph Lauren’s latest campaign, our director Sharif Hamza highlights the work and the energy of "Work to Ride." Founded in 1994 in Philadelphia, Work to Ride is a non-profit community-based prevention program that aids disadvantaged urban youth through constructive activities centered on horsemanship, equine sports and education. For Filmmaker and Photographer, Sharif Hamza, this campaign was a great occasion to change things and emphasize good cause with a great brand. Here, Ralph Lauren is proud to support the Work to Ride foundation with a grant that will directly fund collegiate scholarships for the Work to Ride high school athletes.
