One cashier, one hidden cam, one printer. That´s all Burger King needed to prove that Whoppers are made to order. Exactly your way. When a person ordered a sandwhich, a picture was taken, without anyone noticing. The client got your freshly made Whopper with your face on it. Burger King has proved that each sandwich is unique, made to order, especially for each customer. Ambient advertisement created by Ogilvy, Brazil for Burger King, within the category: Food.

The World Cup 2018, an event that should celebrate diversity and equality, took place in Russia, one of the most homophobic countries in the world that has laws promoting violence against the LGBTQ community. So that everyone could raise their flags with safety and pride, Mirum Brazil created #rainbowcup. To participate the user had just to take a photo or video of the fans, replacing the national flags for the rainbow flag emoji and post using the #rainbowcup. The LGBT public and advocates participated in Russia and the movement eventually moved out of the host nation into a global protest. Thousands of people in 93 countries participated, generating more than 144 million impressions and leaving a message for the World Cup 2022: Qatar, wait for us. www.therainbowcup.com Digital advertisement created by Mirum, Brazil for Grupo Dignidade, within the category: Public Interest, NGO.
Apê Kids, a company that develops playful and functional objects for children, has created Offline Toys, a line of toys where, in order to make the game even more fun, it is necessary to couple the parents' smartphones with an app developed for this end. The initiative aims to avoid the harmful custom of parents to use the cell phone during the moment of play with their children. Research from US universities shows that excessive use of mobile phones by parents can negatively influence children's brain development. Interviews with 170 families, led by scholars at the University of Michigan and Illinois State University, show that by interrupting family times to check messages or surf social networks, parents can contribute to problems such as hyperactivity in children. The line of toys Offline Toys arrives in the Brazilian market with three models in wood: car, stove and human body, and with four possibilities of fit for the cellular devices. With NFC technology, the app recognizes the toy where it is docked and blocks receiving notifications on the phone while playing. Parents and children will be able to have fun, without interruption, with more than 120 interactions, like triggering the siren of a police car, cooking different foods and getting to know the human body, among others. Plano de Menina (Girl's Plan), a social initiative whose goal is to give a voice and opportunities to underprivileged girls throughout Brazil, offering courses and workshops on financial education, entrepreneurship, career building, self-esteem, law, citizenship, and other subjects, created the #EqualPay movement in partnership with BETC/Havas, in order to call on public institutions, employers and society at large to reflect on and promote positive initiatives that contribute to making equal pay between men and women a reality. Research shows that for women to earn the same as men, they need to begin their professional life 10 years earlier. The unfairness of this situation is evidenced through the character Heloisa Teodoro, a 10-year-old Plano de Menina student. In the campaign, the girl questions recruiters from various companies about male privilege and asks: "Do you think that's fair?" The recruiters are left speechless when challenged by a girl who, together with thousands of other Plano de Menina girls, started the #EqualPay movement seeking to secure the same rights and equal pay for women, calling on all Brazilians to unite to make this future possible, so that women can enter the job market at the right time and receive the same salaries and opportunities as men. Not ghosts, vampires, or even clowns. Of all things, bills are what makes a Brazilian's blood run cold. Social network throughout the country is teeming with jokes about being unexpectedly billed. It's indeed a scary matter but one that Brazilians nevertheless are ready to handle in a lighthearted way. So to join in on the conversation that has taken over the internet and trending topics, Burger King® rolls out its Halloween campaign: Whopper Bill®. Starting today, fans of the brand are being sent, in various ways, a notice that simulates a bill to be paid, but that turns out to be a new irresistible excuse to indulge: a discount voucher. The campaign was created by DAVID São Paulo. Consumers of the brand can also access the bill at boletodobk.com.br and send the bone-chilling surprise to their friends: another bill to pay. Simply by accessing the WR code with a smartphone camera the consumer is directed to the webpage with all instructions. The activations – redeeming the bills for discount vouchers for a Whopper – are set to happen only on October 31. Each combo will be selling for half price.
