Overview In 2020, after months of inactivity, soccer returned to only two countries, Denmark and Costa Rica. However, the matches happened behind closed doors. That is why Gatorade, the official sponsor of Deportivo Saprissa, looked for a way to unite people with their team. Idea Using the video calling platform ZOOM, fans connected with the soccer players, creating a virtual Gatorade stadium with giant screens in the stadium bleachers, becoming the first in the world to use this dynamic to attract the fans. In July 2020, Vladimir Putin changed the Russian constitution to ban same-sex marriage with an amendment that explicitly defines marriage as between a man and woman. 77% of the country’s population supported the change. At the same time, Gay Propaganda law passed in 2013 actively functions in Russia. It notoriously criminalises representations of LGBTQIA+ community and their relationships, supposedly to protect children from being exposed to homosexuality. It has also encouraged a wave of hate crimes including beatings, rape and torture that continue to this day. One year on from the constitutional change, the film ‘We Will Become Better has been released in order to challenge these offensive, narrow portrayals of same-sex relationship with a simple message: ‘Love is everyone’s right’. This is the first Russian LGBTQIA+ film in years that actually portrays a gay relationship and the country’s first anti-homophobic project aimed at decreasing the amount of hatred towards the community. As students at Syracuse University, it is startling to see the income inequality between the people on campus and the people in the city. Living here for the past three years has really opened my eyes to a different reality from the one I am so used to. Empathy is one of the most important traits to have. With that in mind, we wanted to show what poverty feels like through one of its most visible manifestations: panhandling. Experiential advertisement created by S.I. A shocking advertising campaign for the non-profit First Call begs the question, “Is addiction a disease?” by examining what would happen if the families of cancer and Parkinson’s patients treated them the same way many respond to those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. Created by VML and Sundance Award-winning director Chusy, the spots bring to life to key findings published in “Facing Addiction, The Surgeon General’s Report on Alcohol, Drugs, and Health,” released last November by the U.S. Surgeon General’s office. Each spot concludes by directing viewers to StopTheShame.info, where they can learn more about the medical realities of substance use disorder and connect with resources to help those seeking treatment. Brief: had to develop a direct campaign for LEGO that promotes the core of the brand creativity. As this is what the target audience uses when playing in whatever way with LEGO bricks, it was important for us to involve the user to create something new and big. Our aim was that everybody who gets in contact with our digital campaign becomes part of it by using their own creativity. Creative Execution: We made a jump ‘n’ run game, created by the user themselves, and becoming bigger and bigger, with every user who takes part in it. This promotes perfectly the core of the brand LEGO: creativity. Describe the creative solution to the brief/objective. We created an idea for the most common banner: The leader board banner. 728px x 90px for endless fun: An interactive jump ‘n’ run game, created by the users themselves. A little LEGO figure, starting on the very left, has to reach the right side of the banner in order to finish a level. While playing in the banner, users always have the possibility to visit builders-of-infinity.com. Here, users can create their own level – with LEGO bricks. Small bricks, big bricks, moving bricks, pink bricks, fast forward bricks… Once a user finished building a level, he can publish it. His level will be added to the game – raising the number of levels for the banner. Results: Countless LEGO fans from all over the world create a never-ending jump ‘n’ run game. And to become #1 in the high score some of them played even more than 1 hour on this banner. Digital advertisement created by Plan.net, Germany for Lego, within the category: Gaming.
