Rich people have a tendency to throw away more food before its expiration date because they can afford it. So we'll hack another one of their spending habits to show them the value of the food they're actually wasting. We'll create a gallery with paintings made by renowned artists and have a silent auction for people to buy them. Once all the art pieces are sold, we'll reveal exactly how they were made — by using the food they just wasted as painting materials. Showing people that the expensive art they just bought is worth the same as the food they just threw out. Synopsis: Amorim Flooring challenged us to create a compelling film for his new green product. The result is here and it will make you dance. Challenge: Wise is the new sustainable product of Amorim Flooring, one of the most recognizable cork brands of the world. Our challenge was to announce the groundbreaking nature of this product – with a negative footprint and non PVC - through a powerful story. We came up with the concept of a pavement as a stage. A stage where you can be whatever you want and make your own choices. To highlight the features of it, BY counted with António Casalinho, a renowned Portuguese ballet dancer. Through his organic moves, we are led on a journey of dedication and choices in a continuous parallelism between the features of pavement and the art of dancing. Barkley launched a book on Amazon Prime Day not by discounting it, but by selling it for a million dollars. Why a million? To illustrate the value of the answers to this million-dollar question: What should a brand do in a world with no paid advertising? The Media Advantage is authored by Barkley Chief Engagement Officer Jim Elms, who formerly led the Amazon media business for IPG and was also global media agency lead for the first Amazon Prime Day. Not only is the million-dollar-book stained by his coffee cup and whisky glass, but it shows marketers how to navigate “a world gone dark”—that is, a media environment where consumers have many ways to avoid seeing your message, your TV :30, your banners and pre-roll, and all the sinkholes advertisers still pour money into. The product videos and customer reviews lean into the fun. The product video features the dog-eared book perched on a marble pedestal behind a velvet rope, while an offscreen voice explains why it’s the most valuable paperback on the market just before the security laser beam grid turns on. In a customer review, J. Howard writes, “You’ll get all or most of it even if you settle for the $17.95 copy instead of ordering the fully autographed, stained, super-inspired, million-dollar bookdoggle. On the national holiday for discounts, he jacks up the price of his book by $999,982.05?” For those looking to get a copy of the book at a cost more within their price range, a pristine new version of the book is also available on Amazon for $17.95. The spot is part of a larger brand campaign for the Dutch Railways, and is aimed to champion the freedom of public transport. The Dutch railways are the most heavily used railway network in Europe and part of an extremely efficient, fast and comfortable network of public transport that includes buses, trams, rental bikes and a wide range of other modes of transportation. As traffic around major cities continued to congest over the last decades, the Dutch invested heavily in connecting different modes of public transport. And with great success; public transport in the Netherlands offers a hassle-free alternative for people to go anywhere they want. With a new brand campaign, the Dutch Railways aims to champion this freedom of mobility. Created by N=5, the campaign means to inspire travelers and prove that public transport can take you anywhere you want. In the campaign’s main TV spot, we follow two girls’ separate journey. As one girl’s plans change, we see them constantly bumping into each other, only to eventually meet each other in a romantic twist of events. The spot is musically supported by Aretha Franklin’s A Natural Woman. As part of the new campaign, the Dutch Railways will also introduce a special public transport subscription (NS Flex) that offers a variety of options and which can be changed on the go, further supporting it’s promise of giving more freedom to travelers.
