People in Russia talk and text on their phones while driving. We’re used to it, nothing strange. Radio stations provoke this behavior. Every station has a call-in show where listeners are calling or texting to win presents or just to say hi to their friends. Smartphone using is the second, after alcohol consumption, human factor causing car accidents. Despite a common opinion, hands-free devices offer no safety benefit when driving. Driving while talking on cell phones – handheld and hands-free – increases risk of crashes fourfold. The number is even bigger for texting and using apps. SM Polis Insurance is fighting against this dangerous habit with live radio broadcast of “car crashes”. 18 radio stations refused to join the action; they only cared about ratings and public image. So we had just one: Novoe Radio. Together with a popular call-in radio show we demonstrated what can happen if you use a phone while driving. When a presenter was getting a call from someone who was driving at the moment, he immediately disconnected the call and put on air the sounds of a car crash. After a moment of scary silence the presenter revealed it was not a real crash and explained the danger of using phones while driving. The first results came just in a couple of days. We were getting less and less calls from the drivers. The story was featured in media. After that the other radio stations changed their mind and joined the action to protect their listeners. People are now stopping to make a call to the show. Audio advertisement created by Voskhod, Russia for SM Polis Insurance, within the category: Finance.

Rich people have a tendency to throw away more food before its expiration date because they can afford it. So we'll hack another one of their spending habits to show them the value of the food they're actually wasting. We'll create a gallery with paintings made by renowned artists and have a silent auction for people to buy them. Once all the art pieces are sold, we'll reveal exactly how they were made — by using the food they just wasted as painting materials. Showing people that the expensive art they just bought is worth the same as the food they just threw out. On June 4th, National "Hug Your Cat" Day, Littermaid reminds its fan base of cat lovers to celebrate cautiously. It's a tale as old as time: unrequited cat hugs. Because as much as we want to show love to our feline friends, they don't always share the same desire for physical affection. In a series of dramatic portraits, this PSA features cat owners who celebrated #NationalHugYourCatDay a little too hard. Littermaid steps in and reminds everyone to celebrate cautiously.

There are a lot of children who are begging in Ukraine. At least 174 of them did it against their will. They were manipulated by traffickers who hide in the shadows. Together with the UN Migration Agency, we invited people to light it up. We created an interactive installation. And exhibited it for three days during the Kyiv Lights Festival. A big black cube with one little peephole. If you look inside you will see just a begging girl. But if you take a photo using the camera flash, the picture will change. With a low production budget and a zero budget for the promo we had 5,647 flashes for three days. These people not just saw the installation. These people took photos. Photos they save on their phones and cameras. Photos they will show to someone else. After Kyiv Light Festival the installation moved to AkT, contemporary art gallery. Now, this installation is permanently exhibited in Odessa. Experiential advertisement created by ANGRY, Ukraine for UN Organization for Migration, within the category: Public Interest, NGO.
