Danny MacAskill, the Scottish trials cyclist and star of multiple YouTube smash-hit viral films such as Red Bull’s Imaginate, shows off his amazing skills in a new brand film for adidas Outdoor, created by Cut Media. It launches on Danny’s Youtube channel on Tuesday 4th June to celebrate his new brand partnership with adidas Outdoor. At three and a half minutes, the film shows Danny performing a series of incredible tricks demonstrating both his imaginative approach to his riding and his unparalleled skills. Appearing to be self-filmed, the spot opens with Danny setting up a shot with a beautiful Scottish harbour as a backdrop. The film takes us through a series of locations as the athlete uses local landmarks and the epic wilderness of the Highlands to do some amazing riding. We also see some shots where Danny fails to land a line, giving the film humour and an authentic feel. The style of the film is very straightforward. There are no gimmicks or dynamic camera shots, just clean, well-composed frames with beautiful backdrops. This filming technique was used to align with adidas’ ‘Here to Create’ campaign, and to highlight Danny’s position as a creative athlete, who demonstrates his skills through film instead of competing in events. The film represents a continuation of Cut Media’s long-standing relationship with Danny, including Imaginate and Wee Day Out for Red Bull, and it is also the fourth campaign the creative agency has worked on with adidas. Cut Media previously collaborated with adidas on the Claim Freedom documentary, the Two BOA shoe launch and the Mountain Project. It was filmed on location in the coastal village of Dunbar and Glencoe in the Highlands, to the soundtrack of ‘The Wind that Cried The World’ by the Phantom Band. We cleaned and gleamed up Signal’s toothbrushing companion with an AR overhaul. Elevating the existing Little Brush Big Brush webseries, the Facebook Messenger experience expands the story with an encouraging chatbot offering 5 fun-filled animal masks that teach kids how to care for their teeth. The experience keeps kids brushing for 21 days through daily reminders, AR interactions and reward stickers — helping them form a positive habit in a playful way. As one of the first Messenger extensions to use augmented reality for learning, the experience shows there’s so much more to AR than puking rainbows. KLM teamed up with fellow Dutch brand Heineken in search of bold adventurers from across the world. In bars around the globe, people ordering a Heineken were asked if they would like an “Orange Experience” to go with it. For those brave enough to find out more, the people had to be willing to complete several challenges to see if they were worthy of the invitation, such as singing ‘Oranje Boven’, a Dutch folk song in a packed bar. Those adventurous enough to complete the challenges were rewarded by immediately being flown out to Amsterdam with a friend to join in the epic King’s Day celebrations.

URL: https://thecallthatcomesafter.com The project is called "The Call That Comes After" and what's interesting about it is how technology is used to bring the targeted teen into the narrative of the campaign - they receive personalized text message from their parent at a crucial point in watching a customized video. It targets teens on the device they use most - their phones. The goal of the campaign is to start a conversation between the teen and their parent about the dangers of high driving. Studies show that driving high nearly doubles the risk of an accident, but a recent study commissioned by Drug Free Kids Canada found that nearly one third (32%) of teens feel driving high is not as risky as drunk driving, while one in four high school seniors say they have ridden in a car with a high driver. Although more parents are speaking more frequently to their kids about drugs, Drug Free Kids Canada’s research showed that over 40% of parents say their conversation lasted only a few minutes or less which seems to indicate a reluctance to engage in a meaningful conversation. The tool that is being offered with the “CallThatComesAfter” provides an easy opportunity for parents to get a message across and open the dialogue all this with a few clicks.
