Chanel has launched a new campaign for its Chance fragrance with a series of four fun and beautifully shot spots, created in partnership with production company BRF (B-Reel Films) director Eva Michon. The series highlights the four scents in the Chance collection, with each being brought to life by a group of diverse young female talent -- Angela Yen, Selah Marley, Belen Chavanne and Lily Newmark. The shoot was set in the picturesque cityscape of Venice, Italy. Each video looks into the individual muse’s narrative through a circular lens, which mirrors the shape of a bottle of Chance. The campaign plays off these narratives, encouraging consumers to “Choose Your Chance” and enter a world where anything is possible. Represented by Selah Marley, the daughter of singer Lauryn Hill, the original Chance is an optimistic scent that blends pink pepper, jasmine and ambery patchouli.

Mizuno Waveknit is a revolutionary running shoe. All made of thread, it looks like sewed by hand. We needed a beautiful art direction to be noticed on the streets, shopfronts and points of sale. So, we've created an all-thread ad, made by hand, as Mizuno WaveKnit looks like. We've analyzed the maps and running tracks of the 3 most important cities that host the major running circuits in Brazil. We've re-drawn and stylized them to create an ad that displayed the tennis and the streets like a single piece, linked by the strings. We've made a lot of pre-tests to have the perfect art direction to reflect the WaveKnit in its essence. We've tested a bunch of different thread textures, nail sizes, color graduations to get to the perfect combination and deliver the most faithful replica. To do so, they tried to recreate the events and characters behind the scenes using the same technique as Picasso when immortalizing the catastrophe back then in its famous painting: "Guernica". To do so, we carried out a comprehensive study of the technique and symbols used in the famous painting, and as from then, created in one canvas a new "Guernica", including the facts that caused the shelling. The first thing was to draw the characters and scenarios to subsequently paint them and transform them into an animated 3D and therefore provide the user an interactive road through space of time, accompanied by audiovisual material and tests that delved into the events.
