The CCXP is an event in Brazil in the format of a Comic Con. But more than this, it's a pop culture event. In Brazil, part of the population reject the terms "geek" and "nerd". Many people do not like to be defined by these terms. Our goal was to make people realize that they too are a bit of a geek. We've created an almost 6 minutes short film with 60 references/easter eggs from movies, series, games, comics and animes that are well know by people. The short film refers to Street Fight, Game of Thrones, Naruto, Back to the Future, Stranger Things and many other geek culture classics. Well, better than just talking about the film, it's inviting you to watch it. It is impossible not to recognize at least one of the references. In less than 48 hours our content managed to make 2.2 million people on Facebook and 70, 000 on Youtube stopped what they were doing to watch our 5:46 minute film. In a time where less than 79% of Internet users watch more than 15 seconds of a video on the internet - according to Year in Review Institute. Let’s not forget to mention the 48 thousand likes and more than 18 thousand shares. And what make us even prouder, is that in 2017 CCXP turned out to be the biggest Comic Con in the world.

The film from children’s rights organization BRIS illustrates a girl’s last day in school before Christmas break, how she sees other people’s joy and fellowship and feel left out. Throughout the ad she carries around a little robot. In the end of the film the robot comforts her and gives her company. The robot is a symbol for the new chat bot service Brisbot that deals with the same kinds of questions as a regular helpline. Brisbot is available directly in the mobile phone on messaging platforms - Kik and Facebook Messenger. It gives professional counseling, answers and advice for children directly in the chat. One of the most common and difficult problems that kids face today is a sense of hopelessness or loneliness. Many children that contact BRIS during the holidays talk about how they feel that everyone else is having a cozy time with relatives and friends, but that they feel left out and don’t have anyone to talk to. Film advertisement created by Garbergs, Sweden for BRIS, within the category: Public Interest, NGO.

Early this year, Grab launched a digital wallet service, “GrabPay Wallet,” but the service did not seem to be going well in Thailand because Thai people still use cash most of the time when using Grab, as Thais perceived that the service is way too complicated for them to use. This commercial film by Wolf BKK aims to shift Grab users’ behavior by using a hilarious conversation between one lazy man and an ape in order to attract the audience and to get the message “GrabPay Wallet is really easy to use” noticed. In the film, the lazy man thinks everything is complicated, even using GrabPay Wallet is too much of a hassle. So, the ape has to give him a BIG lesson about human evolution while demonstrating how easy-to-use Grab’s e-wallet is. Let’s see if the ape could successfully change the human’s mind.
