COANIQUEM is a Chilean foundation with presence in Latin America and the US that treats burned children both physically and emotionally. The campaign is about #ConsejosCOANIQUEM (COANOQUEMTips) to prevent burns. And that is that, in Chile, 9 out of 10 children get burned in their homes in the presence of adults, a very high statistic that is unknown to the Public Opinion. For the first time children who unfortunately have gone through these type of situations themselves are the ones giving us the advice. In their healing process, both physical and emotional, these children give an example of resilience and courage so that together, we can reduce devastating numbers.

Rusty, a 100-year-old landmark water tower, proudly sits on the roof of Minneapolis-based advertising agency, Carmichael Lynch. The agency utilized this ubiquitous yet often-ignored city element as a way to project public art to the community. This year they partnered with the Minneapolis College of Art and Design to create a new loop of mapping projections. These unique experiences of light and vision are now open for the public’s viewing pleasure. The IKEA catalogue is not just any other catalogue. Launched every year and distributed to almost every home in the world, it is one book that doesn’t need any introduction. When IKEA tasked Leo Burnett with launching their 2013 IKEA catalogue in Singapore and Malaysia, the problem was simple. How do you make people excited for something they know they get every year anyway? Our solution: Building anticipation to the arrival of the catalogue in the mailbox via a uniquely IKEA countdown. You may think the internet is responsible for kids hanging around the house and staring at their devices all day, but in this new commercial for Dutch telecom provider KPN, two young boys follow the tutorials of a girl vlogger as they go on an outdoor adventure. As it turns out, the boys don’t go that far: the whole camping trip takes place in their backyard, using their parents wifi to watch the videos. The spot brings back nostalgic feelings of camping, scouting and outdoor adventure, and is the kick-off of a new campaign of the Dutch provider, celebrating the strength and availability of their inhome wifi. We made a crossover between the most watched soap operas in Peru, which is something never seen before on television. In this case, one of the main characters died, but he donated one of his organs to another character (from another soap opera) so he could live. This particular case gave a very powerful message to millions of viewers in Peru and made the media from this country talk about a very important subject as is it organ donation. We have one of the minor rates in Latinoamerica (just 2 donors for each million of people). So, we worked together with the Ministerio de Salud, América Televisión and Del Barrio Producciones, just to generate awareness among citizens and improve those rates.
