Introducing the first statues a brand put up for its customers right in the middle of the city. These guys didn’t invent anything, or win any wars. We’re honoring them just because they love beer so much. Outdoor advertisement created by Leavingstone, Georgia for Beer 34, within the category: Alcoholic Drinks.
Video advert to promote Virgin’s 50Mb broadband service. The famous ‘When Harry Met Sally’ diner orgasm scene was recreated with a slight twist – 50 Megs, instead of one. The video has another twist, in that all the men in the diner thought they were just extras in an advert and literally had no idea what was going on. The reactions are genuine, which hopefully gives it a funny edge. Film advertisement created by Onlinefire, United Kingdom for Virgin, within the category: Electronics, Technology.

Fever Unlimited and Funnyhowflowersdothat.co.uk has partnered with floral heavyweights Miller and Lycett to bring Miller’s famous ‘flower flashes’ from New York to the London streets for the first time to spark joy as the city opens up for summer. The campaign shows three extravagant floral installations that appear overnight at the iconic Eros statue, the god of sensual love, in Piccadilly Circus, two classic red phone booths, and an unassuming bin. The cultural initiative aims to surprise and delight passers-by and encourage them to pick and create their takeaway bouquets, therefore become part of the installation. Miller’s New York installations in taxi cabs, trash cans, building sites and hot dog stalls have attracted worldwide attention and praise for transforming everyday parts of the city into interactive floral explosions. It will be the first time he has brought his work to life outside his native New York. Unilever launched a new Positive Beauty vision and strategy globally which aims to champion a new era of beauty which is equitable and inclusive. This mission echoes LUX’s support for Semenya who was “born this way” and has always had to face scrutiny and discrimination for traits she cannot change about her genetic makeup. LUX seeks to inspire women to confidently embrace their beauty and appearance as their own, as opposed to it being dependent on the opinion of others thus making their interpretation of their beauty their strength. It was with this in mind that LUX decided to donate its brand voice through paid advertising on social channels and other media in support of Caster. Alongside that, the South African Parliament has joined the African Human Rights Commission and other institutions to help Semenya in her fight for justice and equality. The South Africa Parliament passed a Motion Without Notice, condemning the actions of World Athletics against Ms. Semenya as an “injustice and violation of human rights”. Parliament also resolved to do “everything in its power” to assist Ms Semenya in her fight. Film advertisement created by Wunderman Thompson, South Africa for Lux, within the category: Beauty.
