Young people and adults continue to suffer from discrimination after coming out. On coming out day, three young people narrate the before and after coming out and how they have had to deal with rejection of their family and friends. The Glo Tu Pride initiative, created by TBWA \ San Juan for MASGLO (a brand of nail polishes recently launched in Puerto Rico), seeks to raise awareness about this social problem and how acceptance can change a person's life. Masglo invites everyone to paint their nails in rainbow colors on October 11 in support of the LGBTQ + community. "Break Free" tells the story of 79-year old Karl, a former marathon runner locked up in a lifeless nursing home. One evening he discovers his old running shoes by adidas and decides to take a run in his old marathon outfit. He wants to leave the boredom behind and tries to escape the nursing home, against the will of the nurses. His actions ignite a spark of life in the residents of the home and they support him on his way to freedom. Amnesty International Ukraine held a performance in one of Kyiv movie theaters. In the middle of the film viewing people in camouflage uniforms burst into the cinema hall and violently took two viewers away. We made a short video of the “abduction” and with the help of ambush marketing it became a viral and has collected tens of thousands views on YouTube. In Book of the Month’s latest campaign, created by independent Brooklyn-based agency Quirk Creative, it shows how good a night in with a book can really be. The “Satisfied Customer” campaign features a Book of the Month member vividly describing her wild night while her friends anxiously hang onto every detail. They’re amazed to learn she does this act at least once a month—and usually while her boyfriend is asleep.
