Every year, over a thousand people go through a gender transition in Brazil. During this process, many of them tend do identify themselves differently and reconsider the way they dress. Although it may be first perceived as a detail, this style change helps them finding their true personalities. The problem is: in a country where 90% of transgender people are forced into prostitution due to no job opportunities, buying new clothes is privilege. But what if the ones who already overcame the transitioning could donate their older clothes to the ones who are facing it right now? That’s how “Clothing Transition“ was born: the first donation campaign to raise clothes to trans people and also the first one to put them in the center of the discussion. In Brazil's largest economic crisis, unemployment reached 12.7 million people. Most of the unemployed are women and many of them think that makeup is one of the most important things in a job interview. But what if Brazil's most popular makeup brand said just the opposite? We invited a few women to have their makeup done by a professional on the day they had a job interview, with the help of one of the largest recruitment companies in Brazil (Mappit). But we had one condition: they couldn’t look in a mirror until the interview was over. We made a video and released it online the day before Labor Day (May 1). After 70 years of the last recorded case, Brazil is again facing a yellow fever outbreak, and Brazilians no longer know how to handle the spread of the disease. Yellow fever is spread by mosquitoes, but people think monkeys are responsible. Because of this, many Brazilians started killing the monkeys, even endangered species, thinking this would help fight the disease. To scare the monkeys away from humans, we used the help of the most unexpected ally: the black hawk-eagle, their natural predator. With an ongoing political crisis, the Brazilians are more concerned about political matters so they keep an eye on every news about the governing and bring such discussions to the social networks. Finding out that the Correios, a state-owned company, had imposed a 51% increase in shipping, affecting everyone who buys or sells through the internet, the Mercado Livre has brought light to the issue by launching a protest with the hashtag #StopAbusiveShipping. Everyone who would send a letter or an order was invited to participate. All they had to do was write the hashtag on the box, or on the envelope and put the protest inside the Correios, so they themselves spread all of Brazil. With zero investment, we impacted millions of Brazilians and fought for the right to buy online with a fair shipping.
