Grocery stores all across Ontario and Atlantic Canada will be asking shoppers to donate a toonie at checkout to provide breakfast for a hungry child in their community starting February 6th as part of their Toonies for Tummies program. To support Toonies for Tummies, creative agency Capital C has launched an integrated campaign to give people a compelling reason to donate and a way to track their donation. DXM is short for dextromethorphan – a safe ingredient found in over-the-counter cough medicines that has to potential to be misused by teens in an unsafe mixture they call “Lean” to get high. To address this harmful behavior, The Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) in collaboration with the Partnership to End Addiction asked creative agency, TracyLocke to create content that would warn teens of the dangers of “Lean” in a way that would resonate. Nobody Likes Themselves on Lean, illustrates the effects that abusing DXM can have on a teen’s life and the undesirable social consequences the morning after she posts a video of herself on lean. Audiences feel her regret as she is confronted with the stark reality that her embarrassing and irresponsible content from the night before has gone viral. The spot ends with a call to action for teens to learn more at WhatisDXM.com. Humanaut launched an integrated marketing campaign for client Organic Valley, an all-organic cooperative of more than 2000 family farmers producing milk, eggs, cheese, and butter. The campaign aims to build the brand's awareness amid a growing flood of greenwashing and confusing health claims in the food and beverage industry. The new campaign calls out how the competition uses sunny marketing images and vague jargon to cover up for less-than-ideal farming practices. The ads make a sharp contrast between industrial farming practices and the way Organic Valley food is made, on small family farms, without the use of toxic chemicals, hormones, GMOs or antibiotics. The Advertising Agencies Association of India briefed us to create a Call For Entries campaign for the prestigious Adfest's Young Lotus competition. The theme for the contest was 'Stop Food Wastage'. So, to pinch the conscience of the young creatives and make them come up with ideas to end the wastage of food, we visited all the leading advertising agencies and collected the food wasted from their bins. And then made posters using nothing else but the food wasted by them. We even made customized posters for agencies by using their fonts and addressing the agency creative heads directly.
