It’s not easy being a kid in the slums of Mumbai. Life is tough, parents often work day and night but barely make enough to put food on the table. On the other hand, the goons and slum lords seem to have all the time, money and respect a child could want. Unfortunately, without other role models, the criminals are who the children begin to look up to and school falls by the wayside. FCB Interface and Door Step School sought to give these impressionable kids new role models, and while doing so, get them to believe in education and making a better future for themselves. Streets in India are named after famous people but the slums of Mumbai are a maze of hundreds of narrow, crisscrossing streets, many without names. The campaign named streets in Mumbai’s Ambedkar Nagar slum, home of more than 2.4 million people, after the best academic performers in school. The children were celebrated in a road naming ceremony with the community and celebrities in attendance. This is the official campaign for Eurobest Festival's 2012 edition, made up of four spots. The campaign plays with the almost obsessive way creatives see and live their work and how sometimes, a team starts looking and behaving like a couple. That’s the proof that noone lives their work as intensely as ad people and that’s why Eurobest exists: to reward all that dedication. As Flirt.com conducted research and interviewed users, they discovered a common behavior pattern. For many it is easier to break the ice online than to start a conversation face-to-face, especially in the fast-paced settings of social encounters. That is why online dating can serve as the perfect first step to meeting new people. Admittedly, Flirt.com focuses on the easy going side of dating, offering its users many ways to strike up conversations and make quick connections.
We were asked to devise an innovative concept to promote Sony PlayStation's 'Movies on Demand' service, to gain credibility for the service and highlight the superior experience. Taking movies as our starting point we pushed the brand outside of traditional channels. We tried to imagine what the ultimate movie experience would be like, creating three high-impact promos using 'immersive imaging' which were inspired by well-known movies. This technique uses 3D projection mapping as its starting point and combines it with traditional special effects, giving the viewer a supercharged experience, as the living room set is brought to life. Once again we were able to collaborate with some amazing creative talents in the FND Collective andMLF, who helped us to bring the campaign to life. Each film was carefully choreographed and timed to the animation sequence so that we could capture everything in one take, with no cuts, no post production and all in real time. The project combined real-life props, pyrotechnics and ninja puppeteers so we were able to blur the boundaries between the virtual and real. The three virals were uploaded to YouTube and have gained over 4.5 million views. Digital advertisement created by Studio Output, United Kingdom for PlayStation, within the category: Gaming.

There are ugly Christmas sweaters. And there’s the #reallyuglysweater. Take a closer look at it and you’ll see: the normally oh-so-peaceful crib is being bombed in the midst of a Syrian refugee camp. An ugly but very real scene for all those struggling in Syria on a daily basis. Gents created the fashion statement of the year to showcase the other side of the holidays and to ensure a truly merry Christmas for all children. One ugly sweater at a time. More than 10.000 eur was raised to support the work of SOS Children’s Villages in Syria.
