After a great first year, we wanted to do something special for our clients. But we didn’t want to just send out a typical agency christmas card and call it day. So, we decided to prank them. Using some old stuff we had laying around the office we set up a gift shop on our website. Then, we created our own gift cards, each with a unique code and link to the gift shop. We mailed them to our clients to redeem for a selection of “awesome” gifts. When they eventually settled on one of these lame gifts and reluctantly added it to their cart they were pleasantly surprised. It was actually an Amazon gift card, and the unique code on the back allowed them to get any gift they wanted. Marmalade is a leading car insurance company which specialises in insuring learner drivers and young drivers with a range of short-term and annual options on their own car or a car they borrow. They also offer an exclusive new car and insurance package. We were tasked to deliver a creative campaign to help build the brand. We drew on the insight that driving gives young people their first true sense of freedom. In a busy marketplace with a growing number of imitation products being introduced by generalist insurers, it was essential we created a campaign which would help the brand stand out, and resonate with both young drivers and their parents who often pay for insurance on their offspring’s behalf. With this in mind, Mr Marmalade was born. Mr Marmalade is a warm, genie-like character who always pops up just when you need him, helping young drivers with their insurance worries. The Mr Marmalade campaign launched on TV during the Love Island 2018 final, and is also running across OOH, print and digital. We recovered, edited and organized in chronological order more than 550 audio files from different radios that transmitted what was happening in the 11th September, 1973. Compiling all this material in a minute by minute timeline to relive through audio the chilean coup d'état (the first day of a 17 years dictatorship), just how it happened. All this material was broadcasted during the 11th September, 2018 (the 45 anniversary of that fatal day), on one of the AM radio stations that were shut down by Pinochet in 1973, starting the transmission at 8am to match the minute by minute of which was happening that day, creating an immersive experience that impacted a whole new generation of people who didn't live those times to made them feel the uncertainty, the fear, the impotence. What does the colour black mean to you? To some, it’s a sign of defiance, to some a bad omen or the colour of death and despair. But to auto-heads, it’s a colour that makes a statement. A shade full of suaveness and swag. And that’s the colour Harrier Dark comes in. To build the imagery of Harrier dark with a neo-noir undertone, we created a digital film that portrays the Harrier Dark in all black, accentuating its bold look. The film takes pride in giving in to the dark side and urges the viewers to unleash the dark within. In the film, the Harrier Dark cruises through an unlit enigmatic road that cuts through a dense foggy forest. The greatest love endures the greatest sacrifice. This film is made in conjunction with the Lunar New Year celebration 2020. The film revolves around the story of Ah Ma,and her Twins Ah Boy & Ah Girl. Chinese family traditionally prefer boys over girls but often forget the sacrifices made by their daughter. However, with a twist of fate, things change and forever changes the dynamics of this family. Health Care in Poland is underfunded. This is especially evident in the case of cancer patients. There is very limited or no access to the new generation of drugs. Several treatment methods, like immune therapy or molecular targeted chemotherapy, are not available in Poland, nor funded by the National Health Fund. Alivia is an Oncology Foundation that believes that more often than not, in Poland the most important missing factor in the fight against cancer… is money. In our non-for-profit campaign, we followed the road less travelled. Instead of the cliché route of “emotional blackmail” we chose to empower people, to give them hope and show them that cancer is something you can fight and conquer. The launch event has since generated a whopping 1.1 billion impressions on social media. The film of the experience shows the complete takeover of Madrid’s central Callao Square, orchestrated by experiential design agency Wildbytes.
