Kian is a brazillian luthiery, and our work consists in translating the sound and personality of a musician in an instrument. Knowing that each instrument we create is unique, we used the concept “a sound of your own” to create a new project. To promote the art of building musical instruments, we chose the same technique used to make guitars and created our poster. “The Guitar Poster” really plays like a guitar, and was crafted using reforestation wood of the highest quality. Since the mid-90s the Xgames, a competition created and broadcasted by ESPN has helped take sports such as Skateboarding and BMX into the mainstream. Since it's first edition in 1995 various sports have been added to the games, and generations and generation of fearless atheletes (read: absolute nutcases) have been crowned champions. So with the Xgames turning 18 this summer, and therefore reaching adulthood, ESPN has decided to celebrate this special birthday by releasing film starring female skateboarder Karen Jonze. We've developed a new TVC for the leading Tunisian brand in sanitary towels, pretty unusual for the category in a very conservative market (Arabic country). The idea addresses a specific and explicit message to women (to show a sanitary napkin on television was a first in Tunisia) while giving men the means to pass the time that the commercial is on by watching images specially tailored towards them such as scenes from action movies, football matches or auto stunts. To the delight of fashion experts and fans, Agencia Africa has created the ‘Surprise Collection’ for Ariel, featuring stained clothes which reveal their original prints only when washed. Prominent Brazilian fashion bloggers from the F*Hits blog network received a set of stained clothes, an Ariel sample and instructions on how to discover the hidden prints. The blogs covered the story, featuring ‘before’ and ‘after’ pictures which revealed the full impact of UQBAR’s designs. In addition, the washed outfits were displayed on the catwalk at the São Paulo Fashion Week 2013. Due to huge media and consumer interest, Ariel’s ‘Surprise Collection’ has been made available in stores across Brazil. The Montreal Canadiens, the most celebrated team in hockey history, has one of the most passionate and diehard followings in the NHL. So during this year’s Stanley Cup run, Coors Light teamed up with MEC Canada andDraftFCB Montreal to create an interactive outdoor experience called “L’action sur la glace” or “The Action’s On The Ice”, bringing the fans even closer to the action. Outside of Montreal’s Bell Centre, the home of the Habs, Thinkingbox digital production company built a custom 240 square foot ‘shooter’ platform where fans were able to take their best and hardest “slap shot”. Each time, the strength and speed of the shot would trigger a specific 3D animation that appeared on a 45’ HD LED video wall. For example, if the puck was hit hard enough to score a goal, an animation showing the ice shattering as well as a 3D modeled representation of Bell Centre and the Montreal Canadiens’ locker room would appear. Everything was done to recreate and simulate the experience of scoring a goal for the average fan. The activation included a custom iPad application that controlled the flow of the event. It was synced with social sharing technologies so players could publish their experience on their respective networks. The platform included a puck track containing IR sensors and micro-controllers that converted fans’ shots from microseconds to km/h. Imperial Leisure, has produced a 40-second film that promotes Laundryheap's 24-hour laundry service, inspired by an iconic piece of advertising history. The film, named ‘No Laundrette’, takes inspiration from an iconic jeans ad, shot in a laundrette in 1985. Laundryheap’s reimagined version brings the concept into the 21st century; replacing the traditional laundrette with on-demand, to-the-door laundry and dry cleaning services. Children’s Hospital Foundation of Richmond, VA launches an integrated campaign today to celebrate children’s healthcare solutions made possible through philanthropic support for the ongoing development of the Wonder Tower, a stand-alone world-class inpatient facility devoted specifically to the healthcare needs of children. The Wonder Tower is the new home of the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU. The spot was helmed by creative animation studio LOBO, directed by Isa Littger. Full-service ad agency The Distillery Project (TDP) has created a Thanksgiving brand campaign for retailer Meijer that hits just the right notes for the almost-post-COVID crowd. “Perfect Thanksgiving”. Meijer asked the agency to imbue its seasonal creative with fresh insights since Americans’ holiday plans are expected to be radically different for 2021. The 60-second spot opens with individuals looking into the camera and saying what they’re grateful for. The twist: It’s not their loved ones or their health—it’s cynical-sounding stuff like being stuck in holiday traffic and “getting” to prep a mountain of toasted breadcrumbs for the stuffing. The camera pulls back to show their predicaments. Several people at the holiday table give thanks for cringeworthy, yet relatable, holiday horrors. DXM is short for dextromethorphan – a safe ingredient found in over-the-counter cough medicines that has to potential to be misused by teens in an unsafe mixture they call “Lean” to get high. To address this harmful behavior, The Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) in collaboration with the Partnership to End Addiction asked creative agency, TracyLocke to create content that would warn teens of the dangers of “Lean” in a way that would resonate. Nobody Likes Themselves on Lean, illustrates the effects that abusing DXM can have on a teen’s life and the undesirable social consequences the morning after she posts a video of herself on lean. Audiences feel her regret as she is confronted with the stark reality that her embarrassing and irresponsible content from the night before has gone viral. The spot ends with a call to action for teens to learn more at WhatisDXM.com.
