goodwine is a local Kyiv wine and grocery store. In 2018 they completely reimagined their loyalty programme making it as personalized as possible. All customers received exclusive offers based on their preferences. So basically every single user was given an own unique loyalty programme. The brief was to create an identity that will go beyond boring and corporate norm of all shops’ loyalty programmes. goodwine is very human. The brand has always supported the uniqueness of every employee and customer. To support the customization of the loyalty programme and the diversity of thousands of goodwine’s people we came up with the idea to create thousands of different identities. We created naive visual style. Then we programmed an algorithm that randomly shuffles elements and creates thousands of designs. We used them to make an exclusive branding for every customer personal card. Now there are no two identical cards because there are no two identical customers. goodwine employees became the part of identity. The posters were placed in the exact store departments next to workplaces of exact people. The heroes of posters ‘explained’ how the loyalty programme worked in their department. We also saved the exclusive speech patterns of employees in copywriting. So that you feel that a real person is talking to you. Usually people don’t like anything new. But this time 85% of old clients switched to the new programme. And 28 459 goodwine’s visitors became new loyal customers. fizy is Turkey’s biggest music app with 22 Million users. The identity of such a rich platform consisting of tons of genres of music couldn't be a static one. A new design approach that would convey the language of music was needed. We created a Musical Font by using the Variable Fonts technology in a disruptive way. First, a new fizy base font is designed. 6 different axes are constructed within one font. Then, the font’s typographic features are connected to different frequency levels of sound. Due to health reasons, Red Cross international regulations indicate that people who get a tattoo must wait a year before donating blood. Ecuador has a low blood donation level which decreases further every day. On the other hand over 100.000 tattoos were inked last year and the number keeps rising. We decided to offer the tattoo community the opportunity to donate blood before they got their next tattoo, so we launched Ink and Blood, a campaign sponsored by the Ecuadorian Red Cross to increase blood donations. The most influential tattoo artists joined the cause and shared the initiative with their communities. The campaign has helped increase blood donations over a 3.600%, has changed the perspective of donating blood in the tattoo community of Ecuador and has interested other Red Cross chapters worldwide. We cleaned and gleamed up Signal’s toothbrushing companion with an AR overhaul. Elevating the existing Little Brush Big Brush webseries, the Facebook Messenger experience expands the story with an encouraging chatbot offering 5 fun-filled animal masks that teach kids how to care for their teeth. The experience keeps kids brushing for 21 days through daily reminders, AR interactions and reward stickers — helping them form a positive habit in a playful way. As one of the first Messenger extensions to use augmented reality for learning, the experience shows there’s so much more to AR than puking rainbows. In the past years, countless historic buildings in the Middle East have been destroyed by countless wars. This huge cultural loss has an even greater impact for the next generations, which will never be able to see or visit these places. Having this in mind, the History Blocks project was created with the support of UNESCO. It is an initiative that takes place inside Minecraft Education Edition, a Microsoft platform with a pedagogical purpose used in schools around the world. The project counted on the participation of teachers who guided – through a pedagogical plan – the collaborative building of monuments that had been destroyed in the Middle East and that had already been projected in the platform.
