To support the launch of the Zyrtec Allergycast app on Google Assistant, Versus and Society created “Art of Allergies,” a social-focused spot that is part of the broader Allergycast campaign. The Zyrtec Allergycast app gives real-time allergy information, including pollen count, local weather and predominant allergens found in the area, simply by asking Google Assistant to “talk to Zyrtec.” Playing off the tagline, “Allergy season is only beautiful when you’re prepared,” the spot brings the top seasonal allergies to life in a beautiful animation. Versus used vector based design and 2D and 3D animation to create a Kaleidoscope of allergens including sunflowers, asters, chrysanthemums, daisies and more. The Kaleidoscope then unexpectedly arrives at the Google Home Assistant, tying the whole campaign together. To commemorate the centenary of the burial of the Unknown Warrior, Westminster City Council and TMW UNLIMITED have joined forces with the Military Wives Choirs to re-record ‘Abide with Me’, a hymn sung at the public funeral service in 1920. The campaign tells the story of the Unknown Warrior and their journey to their final resting place 100 years ago. ‘Abide with Me’ was one of the original tracks recorded at the ceremony in 1920 and became the first electrical recording ever sold to the public. The 3 min 37-second track and 10 min 41-second documentary ends with the strapline ‘Dedicated to all who have fallen in war and conflict. All who have come back, and all who have not.’ Created and recorded during lockdown, the production of the track became the journey itself – showing the power of music to bring people together during difficult times. The campaign was produced by renowned musician, composer and producer, Sean Hargreaves and conducted by one of Britain's most distinguished conductors, Hilary Davan Wetton. 70 members of the Choirs travelled from across the UK to record each vocal part individually due to COVID-19 restrictions. The creators of the world’s most popular mobile platform have teamed up with the world’s biggest food and beverage company to name the next release of the platform ‘Android Kit Kat’. To celebrate this collaboration, JWT Amsterdam created a campaign, which fits seamlessly with both brands. We placed special outdoor ads at various locations in Amsterdam and Utrecht. Then from Wednesday, September 11th to Saturday, September 14th we simply invited people to have a break, by sitting on the special bench we’d placed on the ad. Anyone who was having this special break at the given moment on Saturday, September 14th, won a new Nexus 7 tablet. We had to introduce the exhilaration and wonder of the drive in a Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet. This is an experience that can’t easily be described, and has to be felt to fully understand. That’s why we created an immersive Virtual Reality experience. We went to the experts in wonder, children, to get the inspiration for the VR piece. Unlike adults, who’ve lost their sense of wonder, children are able to fully experience the sensory pleasure a ride in a cabriolet gives. We took them for a drive and asked them to describe it to us. We used what they told us to create a fantasy drive, where adult senses are delighted and re-awakened.
