You may think the internet is responsible for kids hanging around the house and staring at their devices all day, but in this new commercial for Dutch telecom provider KPN, two young boys follow the tutorials of a girl vlogger as they go on an outdoor adventure. As it turns out, the boys don’t go that far: the whole camping trip takes place in their backyard, using their parents wifi to watch the videos. The spot brings back nostalgic feelings of camping, scouting and outdoor adventure, and is the kick-off of a new campaign of the Dutch provider, celebrating the strength and availability of their inhome wifi. There’s nothing quite like the World Cup on the horizon to put a spring into everybody’s step. This sense of fun and anticipation is perfectly captured in Qatar Airways’ first World Cup campaign, which is made by the airline’s agency of record, 180 Kingsday. It features a re-recording of the classic song 'Dancing in the Streets' with singer and TV star Nicole Scherzinger – best known as judge on both the UK and US’s X-Factor. The result is an upbeat and infectiously fun-filled ‘musical’ style TV commercial, backed by a global media spend. The campaign called ‘All Together Now’ is a complete visual identity and branding for Qatar Airways’ World Cup sponsorship, which covers design, print, online, OOH, social – but is led by a 60 second TVC that sees the world singing and dancing along to the iconic song. The musical caper features dancing fans of all ages and ethnicities singing cabin crew in Doha and dancing match stewards and mascots in Russia. New work by Brett de Vos for Asics global 'I MOVE ME' campaign, featuring Tennis champion Novak Djokovic as part of a fully integrated film and stills campaign Revolver produced. Filmed between Monte Carlo, France and Belgrade, Serbia, the story showcases Djokovic’s dedication to the sport and the positive impact he has on the younger generation of Tennis players. Coming from a broken environment and no tennis footprint, Novak Djokovic has risen to the top of his sport and reminds us that with hard work and determination there is no telling what we can achieve. Snickers is a brand build on strong TV advertising, but if your target audience doesn’t watch TV anymore, you must do something different. So, we create a social media campaign that raises awareness and market penetration for the Snickers brand. Off course in-line with the international “you're not you when you're hungry” brand theme. The target audience is the mobile generation. Youngsters in the age of 16-24 that are always online. They swipe, (dis)like and want to be constantly entertained on their phone’s. Although they like some brands, they usually hate it when they interrupt their socials. You’re not you when you’re hungry! How do we prove this to the youngsters? By hijacking their thumb and "hacking" the popular Instagram Stories. Using the hold-screen-to-pause mechanism, we created 3 cool games that where impossible to win. To win (for an indefinitely moment), you had to pause the video at the exact right moment. “Great job! Don’t let go” appeared in your screen. Leaving you wondering what will happen next. Because obviously, you need your finger again. When lifted, the video automatically continued and you were confronted with the inevitable denouement "You lose", quickly followed by "Be a winner, grab a free Snickers". Making sure you felt like a champ and your efforts were rewarded with a Snickers (which you could claim after you swiped up). Our goal was a distinctive and uncompromising campaign that stands out. That’s why we’ve chosen the nostalgic pixel art style that binds the campaign and is realized by Ivan Dixon. This animator from Melbourne has made his mark with work for The Simpsons, Cartoon Network, Disney and Warner Bros.
