Dunwoody College of Technology is the oldest institution of its kind in the Upper Midwest. With a world-class reputation for its applied-learning programs, it’s no wonder Dunwoody delivers a 99% job placement rate. Levi's latest social media video project, Ride4Water, showcases the inspiring American spirit and perseverance of endurance athlete Katie Spotz and her goal of cycling across the entire country. Last Saturday, Katie and her biking partner Sam Williams set forth to bike 3000 miles in less than eight days — that’s 1.3 times as long as the Tour de France and in one-sixth the time. Their journey, with the help of Levi's, was to raise money for Blue Planet, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing safe drinking water to those without. In a series of live video updates following throughout her race, Levi’s captured Katie’s drive to overcome strenuous physical and mental challenges. She fractured her pelvis, forcing her to use a handcycle, and also dealt with a serious crash which landed her in the hospital.

A shocking advertising campaign for the non-profit First Call begs the question, “Is addiction a disease?” by examining what would happen if the families of cancer and Parkinson’s patients treated them the same way many respond to those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. Created by VML and Sundance Award-winning director Chusy, the spots bring to life to key findings published in “Facing Addiction, The Surgeon General’s Report on Alcohol, Drugs, and Health,” released last November by the U.S. Surgeon General’s office. Each spot concludes by directing viewers to StopTheShame.info, where they can learn more about the medical realities of substance use disorder and connect with resources to help those seeking treatment. Film advertisement created by VML, United States for First Call, within the category: Public Interest, NGO.
Two creatives, tasked with creating a “sincere holiday greeting,” envision a grab bag of a spot filled with... affluence, Jingle Bells, abundant gifts (and purchases), kittens, puppies, polar bears, romance, retro, ethnic diversity, dancing Santa, VR Santa, dancing cookies, dreamy kids (dreaming of clients’ products and services), lumber. The closing voiceover, as they would have it, is “genuine, sincere, heartfelt,” as it states, “The very best thing about the holidays is you. Our warmest holiday greeting and best wishes for the new year.” The spot-within-a-spot ends, and over a festive photo of Brunner staff (Michael Brunner in elf hat), a final super states “at least we nailed the sincerity part.”

When you search for a place to visit on Google, you make quick judgement calls based on the images you see. Unfortunately Google’s search results are flooded with inferior mobile photography, causing small, local businesses to suffer. So Canon inspired and rallied their fans to help with the power of their great Canon photography. Digital advertisement created by Uncle Grey, Denmark for Canon, within the category: Electronics, Technology.
